HAPPY HOLIDAYS AT MANDARIN ORIENTAL, HONG KONG

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong will officially kick off the holiday season with festive signature packages for guests to indulge in this winter. Known for its one-of-a-kind experiences, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong will invite local residents and visitors alike to make reservations for a festive stay with all the trimmings.

Festive mulled wine, traditional Hong Kong roasted chestnuts, children’s ballet, chamber choir performances, and appearances by Santa Claus will all be available within the hotel, whilst outstanding shopping, cultural attractions, and the surrounding bright festive lights, will make Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong the perfect location to celebrate this holiday season.

Festive Family Celebration Package
This holiday getaway package includes accommodation in a luxurious suite and a complimentary room for children. Tasty home-made festive treats, daily breakfast, and a late checkout at 2pm are included, as well as a range of amenities for children and arrangements for a festive in-room family DVD night. The Festive Family Celebration package is valid all month of December with rates starting from HKD9,299 plus 10% service charge per room per night. Holiday Dining 
A range of tempting menus will be prepared by Michelin-starred chefs with each experience highlighting the holidays. To enjoy innovative Michelin-starred French gourmet menus, Pierre will serve unforgettable dishes created by legendary chef Pierre Gagnaire, combined with the drama of spectacular harbour views and Hong Kong’s holiday lights. The Michelin-starred Mandarin Grill + Bar, on the other hand, will showcase the season’s best dishes with a
dash of progressive gastronomy by Executive Chef Uwe Opocensky. Also, lunch or dinner at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant Man Wah is recommended for outstanding local festive menus.

Meanwhile, Clipper Lounge’s festive seafood buffet will feature an array of culinary delights in December and will serve the legendary festive afternoon tea during the children’s ballet performances on 23-25 December. Café Causette will offer a superb table buffet on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as a festive afternoon tea throughout the month. For a taste of true tradition, the team at The Chinnery will serve a gastronomic homage of bygone days to festive dinners. The hotel’s elegant Connaught Room will be transformed into a holiday wonderland with visits from Santa Claus and other children’s favourites, and an outstanding buffet will be offered, making it the ideal location for family gatherings.

Christmas-To-Go
For those wishing to dine at home, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong will lovingly prepare the entire traditional Christmas-To-Go for delivery from or collection at The Mandarin Cake Shop on Christmas morning. A choice of meals will be available, including roast turkey, stuffing, pumpkin, mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, and cranberry sauce for up to 22 people.

Christmas Hampers 
Are you looking for the perfect gift to give this holiday season? Available on sale at The Mandarin Cake Shop from 15 November to 26 December, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong will offer a host of lovely Christmas Hampers filled with treats. These distinctive and renowned hampers brim with festive goodies, from Christmas stollen and biscuits to the famed home-made rose petal jam and XO sauce.

Holiday Spa Offers
To celebrate the season of gift giving, The Mandarin Salon will hold a Spa-liday pre-holiday shopping event on the evening of 9 December 2014 where a variety of gift ideas, spa hampers, stocking stuffers, and gift cards will be available for sale. Give the gift of wellness with a variety of luxurious spa hampers, including the “Quintessence Christmas” hamper filled with signature Quintessence products, “Elementally Mandarin For Her”, which is brimming with Elemental Herbology products, and the “MO Man”, featuring a collection of products from Aromatherapy Associates.
