
From 20 July to 14 August 2026, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur’s Lemon Garden will host a limited-time Anatolian culinary showcase. Guest Chefs Murat Arslantaş and Yunus Emre Şengüler from Shangri-La Istanbul will bring the authentic flavors and traditions of Turkish kitchens to Malaysia.


Anatolian cuisine emphasizes shared dining through various small plates (mezze), grilled meats, and fresh breads. Highlights of the upcoming showcase include:
Cold Mezze Selection: Traditional starters including smooth Hummus, bright Ezme (tomato and pepper blend), and smoky Mutabbal (charred aubergine).
Charcoal Grill Selection: Bold dishes such as hand-minced Adana Kebab, tender Chicken Şiş, grilled Lamb Chops, and the slow-baked Hatay Tray Kebab.
Sides and Seafood: Freshly baked Lavaş and Traditional Pide, alongside a Seafood Selection and fragrant Ottoman Spiced Rice.
Turkish Desserts: Traditional sweets including hot Künefe (cheese pastry), Baked Milk Helva, and silky Almond Keşkül.
