Nonosugar Rolls Out Tan Sri Ong P90 & Red P90

August 22, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Nonosugar Health Tech Sdn Bhd, a health and nutritional food manufacturer, in collaboration with Tan Sri Augustine Ong, has rolled out Tan Sri Ong P90 and Tan Sri Ong Red P90 – a distinctive blend of Palm Olein and Extra Virgin Olive Oil cooking oils that are targeted at the health conscious.

The Tan Sri Ong P90 and Tan Sri Ong Red P90 are a unique composition of 90 percent Palm Olein and 10 percent Extra Virgin Olive Oil that improves taste and aroma in your cooking. The Tan Sri Ong Red P90 variant stands out with the inclusion of vibrant Red Palm Olein that is renowned for its antioxidants properties, making it a health-conscious and visually appealing choice for culinary enthusiasts.

According to Tan Sri Augustine Ong, who developed the products based on his 50 years of intensive scientific research on Palm Oil, they have many benefits as cooking oils. They are less fattening, do not cause inflammation due to the low Omega 6 content, are free from trans fats, high in Tocotrienols and heat resistant. As such both the Tan Sri Ong P90 and Tan Sri Ong Red P90 are suitable a variety of cooking methods, including making salads. Tan Sri Ong’s Red P90 is particularly ideal for making red sauces, that include curry, tomato-based sauce, tom yam and more.

“For years, people have believed that saturated fats increase cholesterol levels and associate the high content of saturated fatty acids in Palm Olein with a higher risk of cardiovascular diseases, but it is a misconception,” said Ong.

“It has been shown that Palm Olein is as good as Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This is proven by research work. The saturation of Palm Olein is 40% while that of Extra Virgin Olive Oil is 15%, yet they induce the same levels of LDL-cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol in human trials,” he added.

Palm Olein is also rich in Vitamin E, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats, with anti-clotting properties. The inclusion of Extra Virgin Olive Oil further enhances these benefits with its antioxidants and monounsaturated fats.

Jeff Kong, CEO and Founder of Nonosugar Health Tech, said the company is excited to add Tan Sri Ong P90 and Tan Sri Ong Red P90 to its health product line-up.

“Nonosugar’s mission is to promote healthy living through carefully curated health products that we market and personalised wellness programmes. Adding both the products to our product line-up is definitely exciting for us and for our customers,” said Kong.

“This collaboration with Tan Sri Augustine Ong in producing the Tan Sri Ong P90 and Tan Sri Ong Red P90 has been indeed fruitful as we will be helping millions of Malaysians to make healthier choices in their cooking and food preparations,” he added.

The Tan Sri Ong P90 and Tan Sri Ong Red P90 are packaged in a premium glass bottle of 500ml and marketed by Nonosugar Health Tech and distributed by Hai Seng Huat Fisheries Sdn Bhd. They are available for purchase via www.nonosugar.com.my and at selected independent pharmacies for RM38.00 per bottle.
