As the auspicious Year of the Wood Dragon approaches, Hilton Kuala Lumpur proudly introduces its captivating Chinese New Year offerings as part of Hilton’s national campaign, “Reign of The Dragon.” This thematic celebration is set to immerse families, corporates, and diners in a captivating experience that seamlessly blends tradition, prosperity, and culinary delights.

Traditional Tasmanian Ocean Trout Yee Sang

And this year, Chef Lam Hock Hin had created a great spread of menu offering this Chinese New Year. Experience the artistry of Chef Lam Hock Hin with the 2024 signature Yee Sang. Indulge in the exquisite Tasmanian Ocean Trout and Wasabi Longan Yee Sang, a harmonious blend of flavors symbolizing abundance and prosperity.

Asides from the signature Yee Sang, one can go for the Tasmanian Ocean Trout with Crispy Rice and Assam Chilli Yee Sang, a culinary masterpiece that combines textures and tastes in a single toss (RM168 Nett-half portion, RM318 Nett-whole portion). You can elevate your Yee Sang experience with the Salted Egg Fish Skin & Soft Shell Crab Yee Sang, a unique twist that adds a delightful crunch to the traditional toss (RM178 Nett-half portion, RM328 Nett-whole portion).

Cauliflower Soup with Seafood, Crushed Pepper, Vegetable Fin Soup

We love the Cauliflower Soup with Seafood. The aroma wafting from the bowl hinted at the richness and complexity that awaited our palates. The first spoonful unveiled the velvety texture of the soup. The seafood brings you with the depth of flavors that danced on our palate.

Poached Free Range Chicken , Guang Xi Sauce

The poached free-range chicken, lay gracefully on the plate.  Perfectly poached, the chicken boasted a tender and succulent textur . What elevated this dish from the ordinary to the extraordinary was the Guang Xi Sauce which was not merely a condiment; it was a key player in the symphony of tastes that unfolded with each mouthful.

Stewed Red Grouper, Chunks with Preserved Vegetables , Dry Shrimp

The red grouper takes center stage, skillfully stewed to perfection. The result is a fish that boasts a flaky, tender texture, a testament to the meticulous cooking process. Every bite unveils the mastery behind achieving the ideal balance of doneness, allowing the natural flavors of the grouper to shine through. The dry shrimp brings a concentrated burst of seafood essence, intertwining seamlessly with the flavors of the red grouper and preserved vegetables. This is one of the signature in Chynna.. We love how the fresh prawns is being prepared where it is filled with the aromatic blend of the buttermilk in it. The prawns, bathed in the luxurious buttermilk sauce, are adorned with the crispy rice, creating a visual spectacle that tempts the senses.  The prawns comes simply delicious and each mouthful is heavenly. We love the sauce that comes with it and they are just so good and marvellous.

Stewed Abalone with Fish Maw, Sun Dried Oyster, Fatt Choy, Monkey Head Mushroom and Bran Glutton
