Welcoming the Year of Dragon at Jade Pavilion, Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur

For those seeking an exquisite set menu to celebrate the Chinese New Year, look no further than Jade Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, a culinary gem located on Level 8 of Pavilion Hotel KL. Known for its exquisite dim sum and exceptional Cantonese cuisine, Jade Pavilion has become a favorite among enthusiasts of Chinese gastronomy.

The restaurant’s spacious dining hall and expansive private dining rooms offer a splendid setting for indulging in delectable dishes. The private dining rooms, in particular, exude majesty, class, and comfort, making them ideal for family gatherings, friendly reunions, and corporate functions. And for this time, we tried their Prosperity Set Menu which is priced at RM 358.80 nett per person.

“Jade Pavilion” Salmon Yee Sang with Alaskan Scallops
(⽟亭軒阿拉斯加⽟帶三⽂⿂撈⽣ – ⾶越⿓⾨撈⽣)

Kickstart your festive feast with a vibrant toss of prosperity featuring fresh Salmon and Alaskan Scallops, setting the tone for a prosperous 2024. What makes this Yee Sang stand out is its perfect balance — not too sourish and yet refreshingly delightful. The combination of fresh Salmon and Alaskan Scallops brings a symphony of textures, from the tender flakiness of the Salmon to the succulent sweetness of the Scallops.

Double Boiled 10 Head Abalone with Agaricus Blazei Mushroom and Fish Maw Soup (⼗頭鮑⿂燉巴西蘑菇乾巴菌花膠湯 – ⾦⽟吉祥⿓液)

Wok-Fried King Tiger Prawn with Salted Egg Yolk and Lime Juice (⿈⾦⻘檸醬爆九節蝦 – 嘻哈⿑歡笑)

The Braised Premium Dried Seafood, Sun Dried Oyster, Fatt Choy, and Broccoli dish promises a harmonious medley of flavors, symbolizing abundance and prosperity. The dish is complete with all the goodness in one plate and every bites is just so nice and delicious. 

Wok-Fried Misua Noodles with Seafood and Kizami Nori

Revel in the satisfying textures and flavors of Wok-Fried Misua Noodles adorned with an array of seafood and Kizami Nori. The noodles make a good match and it Is simply delicious and tempting. Love the light wok hei in it and every mouthful is sinfully good. 

 Warm Barley Puree with Peach Resin and Winter Melon Candy 

(桃膠腐⽵薏⽶燉蛋 – ⿈⾦團圓更)
