We’ve all been there. We’re trying to take a selfie, and we just can’t get the angle right. If it wasn’t a passerby or an Instagram boyfriend (or girlfriend) taking a picture for us, we would prop our smartphones against a wall and take a picture of ourselves standing in front of it. We would use cups, stack boxes or anything else we could find as impromptu selfie sticks. Then one day the selfie stick was introduced, and everything changed—we were finally able to take pictures of ourselves from farther away than our arms could reach!
