Nelayanku @ Bukit Jalil

June 29, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Being a big fans of seafood, I am happy to hear that there is another new outlet that sells fresh and healthy seafood restaurant is now open in Pavilion. Nelayanku is one of the outlet whch captured my attention as we had bought some seafood from their mother company during MCO.

The restaurant is brightly lighted restaurant with the theme of seafood in it. And what more special is they have the blue bubble accents to emphasise the sea themed design, along with its glass wall and huge 3DFinding Nemo mural.

The restaurant aims to offer customers an accessible place to enjoy the fresh, healthy and natural seafood without burning your pocket. We had understand from the owner that in here, they never waste any parts of the fish to prepare a wholesome meal even the scale of the fish.

And in here, one can savour the fresh, natural and healthy fish dishes where their soup base is actually made from pure fish bone soup which is simmered for 8 hours to produce rich and aromatic bowl of broth without any artificial flavouring or MSG and no fishy smell in it.  And what we know is the fishes are freshly supplied by their own farm which is located in Pulai Ketam, Selangor.

Moving to the food, they surprises us with the wide variety of choices and we started off with the appetizer. The appetizer is definitely a key to highlight.

Fish Skewer Set (RM 26.90)

We started off with the fish skewer set where the tender fish meat is beautifully marinated. The set comes with the choice of Lemongrass, Tumeric as well as Hot & Spicy. It is indeed unique and what makes it special is the fish skewer is really tender and juicy. Perfect at anytime! For some kick, you can dip them into their specially made chili sauce too!

MyFisherman Wing (RM 18.90)

It is indeed one of my favourite and something I had for my first time. The fisherman wings comes awesomely delicious and when it tasted is so delicious and it is packed with the juicy texture.

Fish Otak Otak (RM 13.90)

We thought it is tofu at the first sight but is not. The Fish Otak Otak is something worth to go for and it is simply addictive too. It is one of the addictive snacks to go for at Nelayanku where the tofu remains its crispiness at the outside while inside completes with flavours. Awesomely good and addictive!

Fisherman Curry (RM 28.90)

The Fisherman curry is nicely presented to us too. The curry is thick and creamy and you can have them with the choice of noodles or rice. They are served with the scrumptious fresh seafood such as grouper fish, squid and prawns in it.

Fisherman Golden Soup (RM 32.90)

Combination of pumpkin and fish broth, the soup are fragrant and it is served with the noodles in it. Topped with the generous ingredients such as the prawns, fish, squid and more. Lovely bowl of delights that one must not missed.

MyFisherman Steam Fish Head (RM 69.90)

This is a MUST have here. The fish head is perfectly steam with their signature soy sauce and sides with some onions. Squeeze a bit of lemon on it for some zestiness in the dish. It is served hot and bubbling and each mouthful is divinely good and double thumbs up. The dish is defiantely an impressive one and one will definitely fall in love after the first try.

MyFisherman Nasi Lemak

Their Nasi Lemak is good too. The Nasi Lemak comes with the fragrant coconut base rice and sides with the delicious prawns sambal and curry fish, crackers and sunny side egg.

One of the uniqueness of Nelayanku is they brings you with their signature desserts which comes with 5 choices which is Red Dates, Soursop, Passion Fruit, Steam Egg Collagen and Chrysanthemum. What makes it unique is where it is made of fish scale. They are being processed accordingly with special technique.

As for drinks, don’t miss out their MyFisherman Coconut Shake and Mango Shake. Both the shake is awesomely good. I am totally in love with the Coconut Shake as it is simply creamy and filled with the coconuty taste in it.

For those who are looking for an awesome seafood delights and not harming your pocket, this is definitely a place to visit.

Oh ya, you can even purchase seafood there too.
