MILO® Raikan Kebaikan Ramadan campaign energises Malaysians with the wholesome goodness to go further

April 14, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

MILO® is ushering in Ramadan this year with its nutritious offerings to help Malaysians stay energised in fulfilling the deeds of the blessed month. Beloved by generations for over 70 years, the iconic choco-malt beverage brand goes even further this festive season, showcasing the various ways its wide range of good-tasting products can be enjoyed as nourishment for the day.

With the goodness of malt, milk and cocoa and a blend of key vitamins and minerals that helps unlock energy from the food you eat, MILO® can be served for any Ramadan occasion to sustain and replenish energy, be it sahur (pre-dawn breakfast), iftar (breaking of fast) or even moreh (supper).

Over the years, MILO® has grown its repertoire of product innovations to suit the different energy needs, preferences and lifestyles of Malaysians. From the original, all-time favourite MILO® powder out of the tin to the array of MILO® Mixes variants that comes in the convenience of stick packs and sachets such as MILO® 3-in-1, MILO® Less Sugar and MILO® with Whole Grain Cereal, this Ramadan, MILO® invites Malaysians to rediscover and continue appreciating the goodness of MILO®.

Whether enjoyed on its own or fused with other nutritious and readily available seasonal ingredients such as kurma (dates), MILO® has crafted recipes including MILO® with Kurma, MILO® Dates and Banana Buzz, and MILO® Grapes and Dates Refresh Smoothie – perfect for sahur, iftar or moreh. These recipes may even inspire consumers to create their own concoctions.

“As a brand that is close to our consumers, we know how especially significant Ramadan this year is to them now that our schedules are becoming full and busy again. We understand that having the right nutrition to power through the day is essential. We also know the unique ways Malaysians like to enjoy their favourite MILO®. Therefore, through our MILO® Raikan Kebaikan Ramadan campaign, we wish to continue championing Malaysians with our nutritious and delicious MILO® offerings, however they like it, so that they can stay energised and keep going this Ramadan, no matter what they set out to achieve. To make this month even more rewarding to our consumers, we have launched a nine-week buy-and-win contest where they stand to win weekly prizes,” said Ng Su Yen, Business Executive Officer – MILO®, Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad.

From March 1 to April 30, 2022, consumers nationwide are eligible to participate in the MILO®  Raikan Kebaikan Ramadan contest simply by making a minimum purchase worth RM15 of any participating MILO® products in a single receipt and submitting their entry online.

Winners are selected on a weekly basis. A total of 27,000 contestants will be rewarded with the weekly bonus prize of RM5 Touch ‘n Go Top-up Pin, while a set of the much-coveted Limited Edition MILO® Vintage Van Collectibles await 1,800 weekly winners. As many as 36 winners will take home the weekly grand prize of a set of MILO® Vintage Van 999 Pure Gold Bars worth RM11,000. Each set comes in four designs of the iconic MILO® vans throughout the decades.

To increase the chances of winning, consumers may purchase any of the following MILO® products to earn two entries: MILO® 3-in-1, MILO® Less Sugar, MILO® Stik Pek, MILO® with Whole Grain Cereal and MILO® Tin 1.5kg. There is no limit to the number of entries consumers may submit.

The MILO® Raikan Kebaikan Ramadan contest welcomes all MILO® consumers aged 18 years and above who are legal residents of Malaysia with a valid identification document.

Participating retailers include major minimarkets, supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores across Malaysia, as well as e-commerce platforms such as Lazada and Shopee that provide official receipt as proof of purchase.
