The Galaxy Watch 4 : A must to have !

October 4, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

Is time to upgrade! With the success of their release of the Samsung Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3; Samsung brings you more surprises with their  latest launch of the Samsung Galaxy Watch  which is the first OS Smartwatch.

And this time, one will definitely WOW about the latest features and the great experience with the NEW Wear OS Software and the Samsung’s One UI Skinto the 3 in 1 heath sensor. It is indeed a great experience with the brand-new Galaxy Watch 4. Modern and minimal is what Samsung wanted the Galaxy Watch 4 to look like.

The Colours

The watch comes with 3 choices of colors which are black, green, and silver.

Design

The watch comes  minimal and lightweight which makes wearing it very comfortable. Comparable, they are just perfect with my hand and you do not feel like you are having something big and bulky on your wrist at all. That’s really great if you are looking for something to wear for 24 hours including when you are sleeping for the sleep tracking.

Galaxy Watch4 is packed with 44mm body is 44.4 x 43.3 x 9.8mm and  it weighs 30.3g.The design comes simple and elegant where they are streamlined Armor Aluminum metal frame and AMOLED screen. The graphic is bright and sharp at all time and it brings you with the high end looks and great function. As for the display; they are covered In scratch resistant Gorilla Glass DX+ and the watch is IP68 water- and dust-resistant. This means you can wear them in swimming and more up to 5 metres deep.

Features

And of course, features is the key when you are looking for this type of watch. There are so much that the watch can do with it

Bright and Nice Viewing Experience

The viewing experience is excellent as these displays is amazingly beautiful which is really amazing and comes with the bright and vibrant colours.  The higher resolution makes the graphics and animations pop even more. The display gets bright enough to remain useful even under direct sunlight

Another thing I love is the about the watch is their Rotating Bazel. This is one of the unique features where they comes with the ‘virtual’ rotating bezel feature where you can run your finger around the black bezel of the screen to rotate through menus and access different features.

3-in -1 Biometric Sensor

One of the most significant updates is the Watch 4 complets with the huge hardware upgrade. In here, Samsung upgraded its new 3- in 1 biometric sensor where it enables faster and more consistent reading. Not just that, it also offers bioelectric impedance analysis ( BIA) to offer body mass scans. And for those who are not aware, BIA sends a weak electric current through your body to analyze body fat percentage, body mass index (BMI), muscle mass, bone mass, body water percentage, and more. Taking a BIA reading is quick, but you’ll need to hold your fingers against the crown buttons for about 15 seconds without those fingers resting on the skin next to your smartwatch.

Snore Detection

Another new thing which captures my attention is the Watch 4 can detect your snoring. Though it is integrated with Samsung Health, you should install official app on your phone to see tracked data & to use other features. Users can use Snore detection function from the Sleep section in Samsung Health or from the app. It will record their daily snoring patterns and view them in the app. The app also provides an intelligent alarm clock & sleep tracker to wake you up when feeling energized. In the premium segment, you can unlock sleep aid, sleep notes, wake-up mood, online backup & export data options.

It is something look forward as it is one of the things that we should be aware of for a better health ahead.

SPO2 ( Blood Oxygen)

It is one of the most important thing to track especially during this pandemic. And during this pandemic, it is good to have your blood oxygen level check often. This allow us to check and keep track of our SPO2 level continuously and detect any irregularities in our blood oxygen.

Battery Life

The Galaxy Watch 4 comes with 361mAH battery on the 44 variant. Even though it has small battery capacity, they can last us around 40 hours, I can say it is a good watch to go about with the watch. As for charging wise, it takes approximately 2 hours plus-minus to fully charge the battery and they have they can be charged with any wireless charger.
