Cosmo Hotel Kuala Lumpur Gears Up for an Auspicious Year of the Rat Celebration

Celebrate Chinese New Year with Cosmo Hotel where this year Cosmo Hotel Kuala Lumpur brings you the Year of Rat on a hearty note. With the Lunar New Year just round the corner, Cosmo Hotel Kuala Lumpur is all set to welcome the auspicious Year of the Rat on a hearty note!

And this year, from 6 January 2020 one can enjoy the delicious feast from Cosmo Hotel where you can have the early dining promotion and stay package customised just for this special occasion. The Lunar New Year Feast is a place

From 6 January 2020, leisure and business visitors to the hotel may look forward to kickstarting the celebrations early with dining promotions and a stay package customised just for the occasion.

And this year, Chinese New Year Six Course Lunch brings you with the hearty start. And this time, one can enjoy the auspicious dining  with their CNY New Year Six Course Lunch compromises a Treasure Platter, Soup as well as three main course ( one seafood, chicken and vegetable dish) and an auspicious dessert.

Diners have the luxury of choosing from an array of Chinese culinary favourites: Chinese Chicken Herbal Consommé or Szechuan Hot & Sour Soup; Steamed Fish Fillet with Nyonya Sauce, Buttermilk Prawns or Kam Heong Squid; Kung Pao Chicken, Chinese Lemon Chicken or Roast Sesame Chicken with Plum Sauce; Garlic Choy Sum, Stir Fried Broccoli in Oyster Sauce or Stir Fried Chinese Mixed Vegetables in Egg Sauce; and Chinese Longan with Snow Fungus or Assorted Fresh Fruits. These will be served with steamed rice and Chinese condiments on the side.

As no Chinese New Year celebration is complete without the traditional toss of Yee Sang for good luck, prosperity, health and all things auspicious, a complimentary half portion of Yee Sang will be available for a table of eight persons and above. Diners are also entitled to one Ang Pow dip per reservation.

The Lunar New Year Six-Course Lunch is priced at RM48.88 nett per person (inclusive of free flow of Chinese tea), subject to a minimum reservation of two persons and available at Café Mint from 6 January – 8 February 2020.

Dish of Prosperity: Yee Sang Promotion

Yee Sang, the symbolic dish of prosperity is now available at Café Mint for lunch, dinner and takeaway until 8 February 2020. ‘Lou Hei’ to another year filled with prosperity and success with a choice of Salmon Yee Sang; Jellyfish and Fresh Fruits Yee Sang or Mango and Vegetarian Yee Sang priced from RM48.00 nett per half-portion (suitable for two to four persons).

Have an early start to a prosperous year!  Gather your friends together and begin the ‘toss’ with a Full Portion of Salmon Yee Sang for just RM88.88 nett per portion between 10-20 January 2020 only (Regular price after 20 January: RM138.00 nett per portion)

Prosperity Room Package 

Holidaymakers planning a Chinese New Year getaway in Kuala Lumpur city will find Cosmo Hotel Kuala Lumpur the perfect accommodation venue with its strategic location close to the Masjid Jamek LRT and Pasar Seni MRT stations, Central Market, Dataran Merdeka and popular shopping districts. Traditional Lion Dance

A traditional lion dance performance will be held at Cosmo Hotel Kuala Lumpur to bring prosperity and good luck for the upcoming year. The performance will be held at the Hotel’s main lobby on 6 February 2020 at 2.00pm.

The audience is in for a spectacular showcase of vibrant colourful costumes, skilled dance performances that mimic the moves of the lion, infectious drum beats and clashing cymbals that will add to the festive atmosphere and bring about a mood of happiness.
