KFC LANDS IN SHOPEE WITH FINGER LICKIN’ GOOD DEALS

November 8, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

KFC Malaysia gears up customer digital experience with the debut of a KFC store on one of Malaysia’s leading e-commerce platform, Shopee. Parallel with its consumer-centric strategy, KFC Malaysia is determined to boost the digital availability of its products and services through the introduction of this new touchpoint.  KFC customers can now enjoy greater access and more value with attractive KFC Self Collect promotions, on the e-commerce platform.

Just in time for the highly anticipated Shopee 11.11 Big Sale, KFC Malaysia rewards its customers through the partnership with Shopee with amazing Finger Lickin’ Good deals happening this 11 November for one day only. Customers get to enjoy their favourite KFC meals at great discounts from ‘Buy 1 Free 1’ and ‘Shocking Sales’ deals available exclusively for KFC Self Collect. The Self Collect feature allows a convenient and hassle-free way of ordering KFC online and collecting orders at the customers’ preferred time and KFC location.

“When it comes to enhancing customer experiences, KFC Malaysia has been working on a number of initiatives to make it easier for customers to enjoy our signature offerings outside of the restaurant environment. Mobile phones are becoming our new point of sales and we want to ensure that we provide an all-encompassing service that addresses customers’ convenience,” said Angelina Villanueva, Chief Marketing Officer, KFC Malaysia.

“KFC Self Collect allows customers to beat the queue to enjoy KFC wherever and whenever they want. We hope that all our customers will enjoy the promotions that we have prepared at Shopee,” she added.

The Shopee 11.11 Big Sale is the e-commerce platform’s biggest one yet, with the introduction of new features, games and tech enhancements, along with new local and international brands that have on-boarded the platform over the past year. It will feature fun in-app games like Shopee Catch, Shopee Strike, Voucher Together-Gether, Shopee Lucky Egg and Shopee Quiz on the App, all with Shopee Coins and vouchers to be won. A total of 11 million orders were recorded on November 11 last year, signifying 24 times increase from Shopee’s first 11.11 Big Sale campaign back in 2016.

Ian Ho, Regional Managing Director, Shopee said, “We are humbled at the same time excited to have Malaysia’s much-loved fast food restaurant brand on Shopee as we continue to grow our offerings on the platform. Our mission has always been to help and change people’s lives by providing them greater convenience so that their time can be spent on more memorable activities with their loved ones. This is especially important in this day and age where most live life on the fast lane. The partnership with KFC sees a clever use of each other’s strengths: Shopee’s wide reach across Malaysia with 20 million downloads, and KFC’s Self Collect feature which allows users to beat the queue and enjoy their favourite KFC meals conveniently. We look forward to more mouth-watering collaborations with KFC in the future.”

Visit the KFC Official Store on Shopee Mall to purchase KFC Self Collect e-vouchers, redeemable at selected KFC outlets nationwide. After successfully checking out, customers will receive a push notification containing the e-voucher code. Log-on to KFC App or KFC.com.my and apply the e-voucher code to place your order. Customers will get to select their preferred store, date and time for collection.
