Harbour City Produces Official Hong Kong Music Video of Baby Shark

September 19, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

The catchy hit, Baby Shark by PINKFONG, which is the division of South Korean Education entertainment Company “SMARTSTUDY”, has created a great sensation around the world, making every kid dance to the tune every chance he or she has, and hence hitting 3.3 billion views so far. This summer, Harbour City has brought this wave to Hong Kong with an official Hong Kong music video of Baby Shark, which is now available on PINKFONG’s YouTube Channel.

Earlier this summer, Harbour City received applications by over 200 Baby Shark lovers who were looking earnestly for a chance to dance in the music video. After several rounds of auditions, 25 energetic, talented Baby Sharks were selected for the video. Having been trained by professionals, they have transformed into SUPER-Sharks with great dancing skills, unique style and strong stage presence.

Produced by Harbour City, the music video began shooting in August. The SUPER-Sharks danced at several Hong Kong landmarks, including the “Ocean Terminal Deck” of Harbour City, Hong Kong Observation Wheel, Choi Hung Estate, and even across the Victoria Harbour on the Star Ferry. The SUPER-Sharks were also joined by nearly 100 Baby Sharks in the video to showcase Hong Kong’s distinctiveness and passion for “Doo Doo Doo”.

The official Hong Kong music video is the first-ever overseas MV of Baby Shark. The MV was first launched at the Doo Doo Doo Babyflap Music Party at Harbour City on 8 Sep, and is now available on the YouTube channels of PINKFONG and Harbour City.

To share the joy of Baby Shark with all the little fans in Hong Kong, Harbour City has joined hands with PINKFONG to build the first-ever Baby Shark thematic “SUPER-Shark Playground” and “SUPER-Shark Music School” in Hong Kong from 23 Aug to 22 Sep, 2019. Hence, little fans are able to spend a jolly summer with the Shark Family against the mesmerizing view of Victoria Harbour.
