Savour the NEW menu from Five Sen5es & Prego, Westin KL

July 21, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Filled up your tummy with the tantalizing delicious meal from Westin Kuala Lumpur. Westin Kuala Lumpur brings you with their fresh new menu and a better dining experience of Chinese and Italian Cuisine.

The Five Sen5es is one of my favourite restaurants where they only offers only the freshest ingredients on their menu. In here, one can enjoy the authentic and contemporary dishes with a twist in one goal.  Five Sen5es, a contemporary Chinese restaurant with traditional yet elegant Chinese elements is a perfect choice for your private, business gathering and now wedding. Enjoy the trendy aesthetic as it transforms from warm and inviting during the day to sensual and inspiring at night.

Five Sen5es is now introducing an enhanced menu consisting new exciting pork-free a la carte dishes which embodies an extensive selection of authentic Chinese dishes.

With the principles of enhancing the five human senses of Sight, Taste, Scent, Touch and Sound, the presence of these five elements are evident in the preparation, cooking and presentation of the spectacular new signature dishes, namely Crispy Salmon Banana Roll with Green Tea Dressing, Minced Duck Fried Rice with Prawn, Yam and Pumpkin Serve in Clay-pot, Fragrant Crispy Vegetables with Roasted Pine Nuts, Honey Glazed Baked Black Cod, Slow Roast Beef Spare Ribs with Pineapple and Honey Sauce and Deep Fried Boneless Chicken with Sweet Chili Sauce Topped with Young Mango.

Crispy Salmon Banana Roll with Green Tea Dressing

The Crispy Salmon Banana Roll with Green Tea Dressing comes to our favourite where the crispy salmon are perfectly stuffed with the mashed banana. It is then roll and deep fried till perfection with the golden-brown texture. Sides with the Green Tea Dressing which definitely appetized you till the fullest!

Minced Duck Fried Rice with Prawn, Yam and Pumpkin Served in Clay-Pot

The Minced Duck Fried Rice with Prawns is another must have dish here. Well minced and served together with the pulpy prawns with it. Awesomely good. Every mouthful of the rice comes amazingly good with the flavourful touch and furnished with the pulpy and juicy prawns.

Sea Grouper Fried with Signature Lemongrass Sauce
Help yourself with their deep-fried grouper fish which is divinely good and delicious.  One can enjoy the awesomelicious bites of the flaky meat texture. The fish comes simply aromatic and filled with the hint of light sweet and sour lemongrass sauce.

Braised Chicken with Chestnut and Mountain Yam
If you are a fan of chicken, go for the Braised Chicken with Chestnut and Mountain Yam. The chicken meat comes tender and well braised.  It is such a homey dish to go for.

Operating Hours
Lunch: 12pm to 2.30pm and Dinner: 6pm to 10pm

As for Prego, Chef Marco De Cecco brings up the taste of Italy to Bukit Bintang where one can enjoy the new dishes with the concept represents thee origin and childhood memories of Italy.

Whether you want an intimate dinner for two, a power lunch or sit back and relax during our newly launched Viva Italia Sunday Brunch, or grabbing Afternoon Tea, there’s no end to fun and laughter here!

Showcasing a newly crafted with dishes such as Asparagi e Gorgonzola, Ricostruzione Di Un Fungo, Pasta Divina, Risotto Gamberi e Porro, Tagliatelle Gamberi e Capesante and Pizza Capricciosa will definitely make one to crave for more.

Asparagi e Gorgonzola
Asparagi e Gorgonzola is where one can have this awesome  meals which brings you with the acquired taste and they are topped with the egg on top. Something unique to me!

Ricostruzione Di Un Fungo (Reconstruction of a Fungus)
I am totally in love with this dish. One can have the beautifully seared scallop topped with the head of mushroom. This is one of my favourites.

Tagliatelle Gamberi e porro
One of the dish which impressed me where the squid ink lagsana is perfectly done with the al-dente texture and served with fresh prawns and scallops. The chef had made it perfectly good where it give you with the taste of Italian !

Pasta Divina
A different experience of taste for the Pasta Divana. A touch of Mediterenean in it where the pasta is completed with the generous portion of seafood and topped with the crutons which is soaked in olive oil.

Never Ends your meal without trying their pizza. With Prego’s wood fired oven, you can definitely enjoy the authentic hand-tossed dough such as the new Pizza Capricciosa. They are topped with mozzarella, mushroom, ham, artichoke, and tomato!
