December 8, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur lighted up the annual Christmas Charity Tree at the hotel’s main lobby on 29 November. And every year, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur brings hope to the children with the seven past recipients of the charity fund and underprivileged children from United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHCR), Rumah Juara and Victory of Children & Youth Home.
With the theme for this year- “The Enchanting Tree of Hope”, the trees are beautifully decorated with the with figurines crafted by the hotel’s talented pastry team. They are stacked on 10 rotational tiers making up the 12-foot-tall Christmas tree. The colourful sugar paste sets come in 6 different designs and can be bought at RM1,000 each. The donor’s name or company logo will also be prominently displayed on the figurine.

Organisations and individuals are invited to sponsor any of the six figurines or select from five limited edition at minimum RM3,000. Donations below RM1,000 without the figurines are also welcome and can be made through donation forms available.
