Tangerine @ The FACE Suites : Romantic Fine Dining with a View

April 2, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

This is indeed another place for dining and we are totally in love. The FACE Suites which is a wholly own property by Platinum Victory Group of Companies brings you with their very first restaurant – Tangerine.

The Scenic View

Tangerine which is a rooftop fine dining restaurant  brings you with the  creative and yet modern western cuisine  to diners that are seeking  to enjoy fine food with the scenic view of Kuala Lumpur City and evening sunsets.  This time, we enjoyed their 5 course dinner prepared at the price of RM 228 Nett per pax.

Amuse Broche
Starts your delightful meals in Tangerine with the Amuse Broche.
Appetite yourself with the deliciously prepared pan seared tuna.   Complete with flavours ; the pan seared tuna is just perfect and beautifully prepared.

The Green Pea Pannacotta  is next served. It is indeed a surprise and every mouthful  is simply unique .

1st Course: Pearl Tomato Compute

Such a unique combination and eye catching; the pearl tomato compute comes with the honey yogurt cheese, nitro olive and  basil crumbs. Melts in the mouth, we love the sweet and creamy blend of the sweetness of the honey yogurt cheese combined with the light sourish tomato.

2nd Course:  Portobello Tortellini ( Additional RM 40) or Foie Gras Cherry

Choose your course either a Portobello tortellini or the Foie Gras Cherry.

For fans of Portobello; you can have your tortellini with the truffle shaves, truffle malto and top with the truffle froth.

Or

You can have the deliciously prepared Foie Gras Cherry.  Beautifully done with the impressive artwork, we never thought that the foie gras is inside the cherry. Love how they had made them and sides with the gooseberry, forest nuts and pochon tuille.

3rd Course:  Cured Hokkaido Scallop or Brittany Lobster Tartare

Cured Hokkaido Scallop is just amazingly good where they topped with the garden pea mousse and black caviar.

Brittany Lobster Tartare
Enjoy this delicious lobster tartare that served with the crustacean bisque, ash oil and saffron aroma.

Palate Cleanser : Ice Avocado & White Gazpacho

4th Course: Wild Cod , Moulard Duck, Sous Vide Australian Lamb Loin or  Daube of Wagyu Beef Cheek

Wild Cod
Have this luscious, moist and flaky texture of the wild cod. Sides with the Kalamata Crust, leak and potato soufflé, baby fennel and passion fruit air. This is such a filling meal and portion comes simply generous.

Sous Vide Australian Lamb Loin
This is superbly delicious. Using the sous vide techniques, the slow cooked lamb loin comes generous with the moist and juicy texture. Sides with the white asparagus, smoked garlic, creamed russet and pecorino flakes.

5th course- Spanish Goat Cheese
Ends your meal with the signature gelato goat cheese topped with the charcoal meringue, pistachio cookies and orange jelly

Personal Recommendation / Favorites:
❤️Foie Gras Cherry
❤️Cured Hokkaido Scallop
❤️Brittany Lobster Tartare
❤️Ice Avocado & White Gazpacho
