The Lobby Lounge at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur is the place to meet with friends, family and business acquaintances for this Lunar New Year reunion and indulge in the Afternoon Tea. A Chinese New Year inspired menu has been introduced for this daily Afternoon Tea offering savoury and sweet treats, with coffee or tea.
Delight in savoury treats such as Marinated Chicken Jerky with Mantou, Pickled Cucumber and Chicken Floss, Snow Crab Salad with Crispy Pie Tee, Marinated Spicy Prawn with Mango and Pineapple Salsa, Smoked Duck Breast with Egg Roll and Scallion, Walnut Caramelized Chicken Puff, Ninko & Sweet Potatoes Spring Roll and Steam Ninko with Grated Coconut.
The dessert items include The Eight Treasure Candies, Petite Hazelnut Oolong 5 Layer,
Mandarin Cremeux with Pineapple Coconut, Golden and Silver Yuan Bao and Sea Moss Macaroon.
Then there is Mandarin Orange and Classic scones, served with cottage cream and orange marmalade.
The Afternoon Tea is available until 28 February from 3pm to 6pm daily at RM180 nett per two persons.
