Project Shinkansen @ Isetan The Japan Store, Lot 10

Together with Isetan The Japan Store, #projectshinkansen had launched an exhibition on the Japanese Famous Railway which is the High Speed Rail Shinkansen in Lot 10 Shopping Centre. The exhibition took place on the 1st floor of the Isetan  The Japan Store will run until 23rd November 2017 from 11am to 9 pm daily.

What is “Shikansen”? For those who does not know what “Shikansen” is; it is actually the high speed rail in Japan which offer super express services (travelling up to 320 kilometres per hour) and they only stop at major stations.  

 

With a high – Speed train project between Malaysia and Singapore set to be realized soon, the exhibition is aimed at creating awareness and knowledge of the exciting Shinkansen. Through the exhibition it is hopped that visitors will learn more about the makings and operations of the Shinkansen including its outstanding safety features and on how it will benefits the economic growth of Malaysia contribute to the local industries and improve people’s life. 

What’s the Highlights? 
The exhibition was fabulous were the highlight is of course the first KATO Diorama Exhibition in Malaysia where you can witness Shinkansen through the realistic towns, homes, and landscapes. The elaborate diorama has been constructed with the utmost detail by skilled craftmen, a sight to behold. Globally known as the brand KATO which is one of the Japan leading manufacturing of precision railroad products for the modelling community.


Activities for this Event
✔️First 250 visitors (weekends only) who share Facebook page or post the event with the #projectshinkansen will receive and exclusive erasable ink pen “Frixon”
✔️27th October 2017: On the exhibition launch day, visitors can try their hand on operating the model train. Limited to 90 visitors ; show any proof of purchase fro Isetan the Japan store from that day and receive limited Shinkansen Candy
✔️4th & 5th November 2017: Show any proof of purchase from Isetan The Japan Store those days and have a go at Japanese-style games popular during the Japanese Festival Ennnichi
✔️18th & 19th November 2017: Learn how to make your own paper Shinkansen at a unique paper craft workshop.
