Guardian Introduces Nature’s Heart Range of Snacks

January 20, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Guardian, the largest pharmacy, health and beauty retail chain in Malaysia, is inviting Malaysians to switch to healthier, guilt-free, anytime, anywhere snacking with the introduction of its Nature’s Heart range of roasted nuts and dried cranberries.
Nature’s Heart is Guardian’s first ever foray into the snack food category.
Building A Healthier Snack
We are all guilty of snacking on less than healthy snacks that may be fried, highly salted and high in bad cholesterol, or that use preservatives or colouring. What if there was a better snack?
Healthy snacks provide energy in the middle of the day or during exercise while decreasing hunger and reducing overeating at mealtime.
Nature’s Heart, A Heart Friendly Choice
Enter Nature’s Heart, an ideal heart-friendly snack as it is roasted or dried, never fried and is a cholesterol-free food. Containing dietary fibre, it is free from both added preservatives and colouring for peace of mind.
The range includes a fine selection of quality Roasted Almonds (Salted) and Dried Cranberries from the United States, Roasted Cashew Nuts (Salted) from India, Roasted Macadamia Nuts (Salted) from Australia and Roasted Mixed Nuts, that will appeal to everyone. More nut and fruit options will be added to the selection soon.
The extensive range of nuts and dried cranberries of Nature’s Heart is certified ‘Halal’ by JAKIM.
Designed For Resealable Convenience, Freshness and Portion Control
Snacking should be convenient, on-the-go and should allow for portion control. The Nature’s Heart range come in 60 to 80g, sufficient for up to 2 servings. Packed in beautifully designed resealable zipper bags, a transparent heart-shaped window lets you see the freshness within and keep track of how much you have consumed.  You can reseal the bag to better control portion, and to keep the contents fresh.
Go nuts for nuts!
Research studies show that people who eat a handful of nuts every day live longer than those who do not eat them at all over the 30-year follow-up period. Go ahead and go nuts for a nutty goodness.
A Digital Presence For Nature’s Heart
Nature’s Heart is in sync with the needs of digitally savvy consumers who love to research their snacks, with a website full of fun facts and snacking suggestions at www.naturesheartfood.com.
Mrs Segolene Defline, Corporate Brand Director of Health & Beauty at The Dairy Farm Company Limited, said:
“We all snack. The goal is to snack smart for a healthy, delicious yet satisfying pick-me-up. This is why Guardian developed the Nature’s Heart range of snacks, focusing on nuts and dried fruits that are fun and deliciously satisfying to munch on. We pick ‘em…so you’ll love ‘em with the highest quality. You can indulge without guilt and you can find out much more at the website.”
In conjunction with the introduction of Nature’s Heart, Guardian Malaysia will be engaging with Joanne Chan, Dietician to educate and encourage more consumers to adopt good ways of healthy eating.
