Canton Kitchen @ Glo Damansara

November 13, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

The restaurant is indeed a place where you may enjoy fresh vegetables which is produced from Bukit Tinggi. Aside, you may purchase the vegetables as well as the local products from there.

It is indeed a great place to dine there and the shop do sells a lot of the local products from their farm and more. Canton Kitchen had recently opened their latest outlet in Glo Damansara bringing you with a homey delights.

Pumpkin & Sweet Potato Balls (RM 9.90)
The pictures from the menu stands out and we said “Must Order” and here  it goes with it. The dish is amazingly beautiful when it is served. The colors are nicely combied with the purple and yellow combination. Taste is simply good. Crunchy bites at the outer layer and flavourful bursting taste in the inside.

Steamed Talapia Fish with Assam Paste (RM 35.90)
Enjoy this wonder-licius steam fish where the fresh fish is cooked with their homemade assam paste (available in their shop for sale) and topped with the crunchy bites of lady fingers. The deliciously done talapia fish, sinfully addictive sauce and I can just have them with just a plain rice.

Steam River Prawns (Seasonal Price)
One of the signature in Canton Kitchen, where the prawns is being steamed till perfection with white egg and topped with generous portion of ginger on top. The prawns comes simply fresh while the broth and the eggs brings ups the sweetness of the whole dish as well.

Kampung Chicken in Guang Xi Style (RM 24.90)
Using the kampong chicken where the chicken is slightly tougher but better munch. The smooth skin with the sweet flavours from the chicken itself makes every bites sinfully delicious.

Guang Xi Style Braised Pork
A dish, full of collagen in it where the pork-licious delight are well braised till perfection. Dipped them with the hot mantao and you will definitely enjoying this.

Ginger Wine Chicken Steam Bihun(RM 22.90)
Being one of the signatures in Canton Kitchen, you willl definitely enjoy till the fullest. Enjoy the steamed chicken as it is with loads of ginger in it. The bihun which is in the soup had soaked with the fragrant Chinese Wine taste and also the ginger taste. Deliciously done where the bihun comes divinely good!

Signature Homemade Beancurd (RM 18.90)
The smooth silky egg bean curd, freshly homemade and stir fried together with the minced pork and long beans. The outsides comes crispy while inside brings you with the melt in the mouth sensation.

French Beans with Dried Shrimps

Overall, Canton Kitchen is indeed a great restaurant to visit if you are looking for a decent dining experience with great food offering. Using their own farm products is the key for Canton Kitchen.
