OSIM’s REWARD MY Team campaign rewards Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games winners with total rejuvenation

October 7, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

In celebrating the extraordinary achievements and historic win of our athletes at the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, OSIM Malaysia gave away a total of
11 massage chairs and 2 portable massage device as a token of gratitude to the medallists during the Presentation Ceremony held today.
With a total of three gold, four silver and two bronze medals won in both arenas, this has been Malaysia’s biggest achievement so far since it began participating in the Olympic Games in 1964 and made its début in the Paralympic Games in 1972.  To top it all, a new world record was also set. The rewards that were given out appropriately express the nation’s appreciation of the hard work these athletes have dedicated in earning the country glory
Chia Sook Fun, OSIM Malaysia Sdn Bhd’s General Manager in her speech today said, “OSIM has always been about delivering the highest quality of massage chairs that
help our users to relax and recover from the toll of everyday stress; no other profession is as physically driven as that of an athlete as they spend a rigorous amount of time keeping their body strong and performing functionally.”
“Thus is it fair to come to a conclusion that our national athletes do needs our OSIM massage chair —and they deserves to have a total relaxation after a hectic training or matches,” said Chia. The three Paralympics gold medallists, Mohd Ridzuan Mohd Puzi (Men’s Sprinter 100m T36), Abdul Latif Romly (Men’s Long Jump T20) and Ziyad Zolkefli Muhammad (Men’s Shot put F20) each received OSIM’s latest best-selling uLove Massage Chair to aid them with alleviating the pains and strains of rigorous training, as well as to help with the rejuvenation process. The chair’s professionally crafted suite of programmes offer instant full body relief with emphasis on shoulders and the lumbar, and help loosen tight muscles while improving range of motion and flexibility.
The silver medallists, Dato’ Lee Chong Wei (Badminton Singles); Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu-Ying (Badminton Mixed Double); Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong (Badminton
Men’s Doubles Pair); Chong Jun Hong and Pandalela Rinong (Women’s Synchonized 10m Platform Diving Team) each received OSIM uDiva Classic Massage Sofa that is small in size but generous in features. The chair combines the function of massage rollers and power-ball massage technology that mimic various massage techniques to provide instant relief to hard-to-reach areas like the neck & shoulders, upper back and lumbar.
Dato’ Lee also additionally received OSIM uLove Massage Chair for his long-standing contribution to the country as an appreciation from OSIM. From the Commonwealth to Olympic Games, Dato’ Lee has earned Malaysia countless of medals and titles as well as recognition on the world stage.
While bronze medallist in the Men’s Keirin, Azizul Awang and the Women’s Long Jump T20 event, Siti Noor Radiah Ismail received the portable and versatile uJolly that conveniently fits onto most chairs, sofas, loungers and beds. uJolly is the perfect travel companion for athletes with its warmth feature that helps loosen stiff body muscles and its innovative Dual-Action Press-Grip massage that delivers a targeted massage for deep tissue relief, loosening stiff and aching muscles. Azizul and Siti was also given the uPhoria Warm leg massager which has a Tui-Na function that promotes recovery.
In showing their commitment and support for the local sporting industry, three OSIM uMagic massage chairs were awarded to Majilis Sukan Negara (National Sports Council) to aid with the national athletes’ recovery and rejuvenation.
“This is our way of showing our support for the Council as well as the athletes who have trained long and hard to bring glory to our country. We hope this small contribution will inspire our future generation of winners,” said Chia.
