The Hungry Spoon @ Sri Petaling : The hearty Western Delights

August 5, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

The Hungry Spoon, a place I call a taste of home is indeed one of the nice café which served a hearty western meal.

Located in the bursting town where they have so much of café there, you are assured that you will get a delicious meals from there. Helmed by Suet Fei & Rahim who are a passionate chef ; they both have venture and training aboard from Ottawa, Montreal & Phuket before returning to KL and opened their lovely café “The Hungry Spoon”

You can enjoy their breakfast set to starts of your day. They have so much to choose from the Norwegian Scramble, The Big, The Sunny Pasta and more. But of course, I am indulge with the Salted Eggy Duck Benedict

Salted Eggy Duck Benedict (RM 20)
Well prepared and beautifully served, the poached eggs together with the smoked duck slices and sides with the English Muffins, Homemade Pickled Papaya. Topped with the drench of the salty egg yolk sauce. Oh my! This is just amazingly good. Wholesomely delicious and juicy. Oh la la!

Le ‘Piment Blac’ (RM 26)
Enjoy this mixed seafood with chillies, and they made it with their homemade chilli paste and creamy white sauce. With this, you are assured with the bursting hot sensation with the creamy delights. Pasta are perfectly cook till al-dente.

Aloha Sunrise (RM 17.90)
Good morning world! I am just good to go with the lovely pizza. What a day with a perfect thin crispy pizza where you can have chunks of chicken pieces, turkey ham, pineapple, cheese, homemade tomato sauce, as well topped with the sunny side up egg. This is just my day with the delicious pizza that have crispy dough where I bite on it; I can hear the sound. Allow minimum 15 minutes of waiting time for the great pizza.
