BLACK FOREST @ CHANGKAT BUKIT BINTANG

May 2, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Located at the busy streets in Changkat Bukit Bintang, Black Forest is indeed a good place to visit for those who are looking for some porklicious delights with some beer.

 With a lively ambience along the street, you will definitely enjoy a good meals with great ambience there.

Pork Havoc (RM 269 +)

A worthy meal to look for and it fits 4 person and perhaps more if you are a small eater. The meat platter comes with the 4 types of sausages, schnitzels, german pork knuckle, baby back ribs, mini sausage skewer, green salad, potato salad, sauerkraut, 1 meter Tiger beer (11 glasses of 230 ml each), ¼ meter Schnapps (5 shots). This is indeed a huge portion and we are really enjoying them. The pork knuckle is indeed heavenly with the crispy skin and filled with collagen with it. Don’t mind about the cholesterol though with this goodies in my tummy. The sausages were good though with the light saltiness in it.

Pork Shoulder Steak (RM 58++)
Enjoy the lovely signature items from Black Forest. It had been there since the menu was launched. The grilled pork shoulder is indeed well marinated for 48 hours in paprika, herbs, onions, garlic and served with jalapeno and smoked paprika sauce. The juiciness of the pork shoulder with the tender meat is just perfectly done is simply appetizing.

Schwarzwaldtorte Im Glass
Ends your meal of course with their signature dessert. The unique sweet endings is just perfect to melts my heart. The chocolate cake with schnapps and kirsch marinated cherries and whipped cream comes amazingly good and delicious. I am finishing them on my own when I suppose to share with Jerry. So u know how good will it be.

And recently Black Forest had also launched 3 new beers where they are from Germany , Belgium and Austria.

STEINER STOANER PILS ZWERG (GERMANY)  (RM 30++)
Comes with the crisp with a dry note and balanced hop aromas.
RM 30++

GRIMBERGEN BLANCHE (BELGIUM) (RM 26++)
An amber semi-cloudy beer from belgium has the nose that is rich and packed with notes of molasses and grain.

GUSSWERK HORNY BETTY (AUSTRIA) (RM 36++)
Comes with the fruit mingle with the spiciness of hops on palate.

For those who are looking for a good place for dining, hop over here for a great porklicious meal with good choices of beers.
