THE PROCESS
Firstly, my doctor of the day Dr Aarthi Maria explains on what are the problems of my skin and due to a long term issue I had. First, the face had been cleared and wash properly to make sure the face are well clean completely. Once it is completely clean, the Fractional Laser Resurfacing will continue to take place. The process take around 20 – 30 minutes where using the new technology of Fractional Laser Resurfacing (Lux1540, non-ablative) can replicate results similar to that of deep chemical peels or ablative laser resurfacing, minus the discomfort or the usual downtime associated with such techniques. The technology utilises laser energy micro beams to penetrate and break down skin tissue through the epidermis. Your body will naturally heal and during the process, creates new, healthy tissue to replace the affected areas that have undergone treatment. The process is having a light burning to your skin during the treatment.
Then, I move to LED Photomodulation Therapy. This therapy is used to restoring the Restoring youthfulness to your skin, light therapy is an increasingly popular anti-aging technique which produces natural looking results. It catalyses cellular functions in the body which speeds up healing and rejuvenation of the skin, and is of the ideal wavelength. The light is powerful enough to penetrate deep into the area required, and is capable of treating several conditions simultaneously.
This technology has also been used by doctors, NASA and the NAVY Seals to regenerate muscle and heal wounds. It is non-invasive and does not harm the skin, and has been shown to be a safe procedure. It increases the production of collagen and elastin in your skin and stimulates the regeneration of connective tissue, resulting in a reduction of acne and acne scarring. There is also no possibility of physical trauma or thermal damage from using this treatment and is suitable for patients of all ages.
After the therapy, I felt my face become hot b and numb but it will actually subsides then after. I had my face apply with the SPF sun block to protect my skin and make sure that it is radiant then. For the first few days, I had some itchiness on the skin and peeling off as well. There is not a problem as you are changing the new skin and after few days, it is better and I can see the difference clearly. My pore reduces a lot and the smaller pores cannot be spotted anymore.
For a better result, it is recommended for 5- 8 times of treatment. But results may vary depends on personal face skin condition. It was my first tme to experience this type of treatment. Great one and I am loving it.
