THE PRINCE RESTAURANT @ 1 MONT KIARA

March 22, 2016 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review Leave a Comment

Established in July 2015, The Prince Restaurant have  3 outlets in Klang Valley strategically located in family-centric neighbourhood malls – 1 Mont Kiara, Sunway Giza and Viva Mall. Located at Level 1 of the mall itself, the restaurant is easily spotted  as they are just a few blocks away from Zanmai Sushi.

The restaurant comes with the cozy ambience with the warm lighting . Every Prince Restaurant befits the customer, whether on business or leisure, with its elegant design as well as impeccable service. When we entered, we are well greeted by the staff with a smile and led us to our table. I am indeed love the spacious restaurant space which comes simply elegant.

Crispy Fried Salt & Pepper Eggplant tossed with Chicken Floss (RM 9.90)
Don’t miss their signature appetizer. The lovely appetizers is just a perfect one to munch while waiting for your mains to serve. The egg plant are well seasoned and deep fried till golden brown. Topped with the flavourful chicken floss with it.Such an addictive delights not to be missed here!

Double Boiled Soup with Chicken and Herbs in Whole Coconut (RM 16.90)

The bowl of hearty soup which is served in the coconut comes amazingly good where the soup comes simply nutritious with the herbs and the black chicken in it. It is believe that the double boiled soup will have rich essence, intense flavors and filled with nutrients that are comforting and promotes good health. The soup comes light with complete sweetness from the herbs and combined with the coconut.

Stir Fried Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk (RM 33.90)

The pulpy prawns is being stir fried till perfection with the fragrant blend of salted egg with it. It is indeed a good combination which we can licked the plate clean.

Deep Fried Kailan Leaves (RM 19.90)

For those who are looking for unique way of preparing the kailan, try their 2 way where the leaf is being deep fried till it is crunchy and another is stir fried with the garlic.  I love the deep fried kailan leaf as it is amazingly good and addictive. This is also our usual order in our family when we visit Prince Restaurant as my little girl love that too. If you are not a vege lover, this can be a good choice to order

Sweet & Sour Pork Belly (RM 22.90)

One of the signature you can find here in Prince Restaurant includes the Sweet & Sour Pork Belly. The sweet and sour combination is amazingly good especially with the succulent meat. It is good to have them with rice !

Stir Fried Australia Beef Tenderloin & Shimeiji Mushroom with Homemade Sauce  (RM 35.90)
The menu says everything. The dish is simply good and the meat comes tender and juicy.Their homemade sauce brings you with the light spiciness and yet flavourful. With the shimeiji mushroom added into it, it had enhanced the overall taste and every mouthful is uniquely good especially  the beef is infused with the aromatic sauce.

Braised Homemade Beancurd with Mushroom & Vegetables in Claypot (RM 18.90)
Love the awesome bean curd which just perfectly melts in the mouth with the smooth textures. The combination of broccoli, toufu, mushroom together which is being braised makes the gravy sweet and flavourful. The gravy is perfectly good to enjoy them with the rice. I just need another bowl of rice!

Chinese Sausage Fried Rice (RM 15.90)

It is indeed a homey delight that one will love. The simple dish with the awesome flavours in it. Cooked with the cube Chinese sausages, mushrooms, shrimp and egg all in one, the dish is one of the must order dish to go for. I love how the rice is being fried where it is complete with the “wok hei” in it.

Steamed Melting Custard & Salted Egg Yolk Cream Pau (RM 5.90)

Aside from main courses, Prince do offer dim sum too in their menu. Try their steamed melting custard with the salted egg yolk combined with it. What I love the most is where you can taste the oozy creamy custard  which combined with the salted egg yolk with it. Not too sweet but with the hint of light saltiness from the salted egg yolk. Very unique!

Shanghai Steamed Dumpling (RM 6.80)

The Shanghai Steamed Dumpling is also a good one to order too. Enjoy them with vineger and sliced ginger. The dumpling is packed with the soup in it and becareful when you enjoy them.

If you are looking for a decent Chinese Restaurant with great food and ambience, Prince Restaurant could be a good choice.
