AUSPICIOUS CHINESE NEW YEAR FEASTS AT DYNASTY RESTAURANT (NON-HALAL), RENAISSANCE KUALA LUMPUR HOTEL

January 24, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Dynasty Restaurant (Non-Halal), Executive Sous Chef Kok Chee Kin and his team of talented chefs are all set to engulf our senses with Festive Menus that capture the finest flavours of Cantonese cuisine from 18 January to 22 February 2016 in celebration of the Chinese New Year.
And this year, Dynasty Restaurant offers 6 choices of Yee Sang which includes the Fruity Fiesta, Salmon, Salmon and Smoked Salmon, Lobster and Salmon, Mini Abalone and Salmon, and Three Treasure accompanied with crunchy vegetables, crackers and condiments. And one of its signatures is the Fruity Fiesta where it comes with the scrumptious and myriad colour yee sang which includes Dragon fruit, strawberry, papaya, honeydew and pear.  Priced from RM108nett for a half portion and RM198nett for a full portion.
Ocean Treasure Soup with Crabmeat.
The bowl of healthy soup served hot comes with the scrumptious ingredients which include the crab meat, prawns and mushrooms. Nicely done and amazingly good.

Fortune Combination Platter
The fortune platter which comes in huge portion comes with the Money Bags, deep fried yam dumpling with prawn, deep fried salted egg yolk as well as the abalones with asparagus. The dish is simply delicious and good where I love the lovey yam dumplings which come pretty unique.

The sun-dried oyster, fatt choy and flower mushrooms
One of a must to go for during CNY is of course the sun-dried oyster, fatt choy and flower mushrooms. Dynasty Restaurant makes more effort in the dish where you can find some sun-dried oyster, fatt choy and flower mushrooms. It’s simply delicious.

Grilled prawns in spicy sauce
The prawns is being grilled and topped with the spicy sauce. To me the sauce weren’t spicy and brings me the hint of sweetness more.

Stir-fried Hong Kong Kai Lan with Wild Mushroom.
Healthy and good one to try.

Braised Pork Knuckle with Fresh Mushroom and Sea Cucumber
The pork knuckle comes awesomely good where the pork knuckle well braised till perfection till it is soft and moist. The taste comes awesomely good and the every mouthful of it is just heavenly. The pork knuckle complete with loads of collagen and well matched with the huge fresh mushroom and sea cucumber.
Claypot Waxed Meat Rice (RM 39 nett per portion)
Their best seller items – Clay Pot Waxed Meat Rice is another classic delights to go. The bowl of waxed meat complete with all the goodies imported all the way from Hong Kong comes awesomely good and delicious.
Fortune Pastries
Our meals ended with the fortune pasteries which includes the Nin Gao which is served with the shredded coconuts and fruit tarts.
Not forgetting is also the sweetened fungus, mixed jelly and soya bean tongsui for a beautiful ending to a hearty meal.
There are 7 festive set menus suitable for 2 persons and groups of 5, 6 or 10 persons. The 7-course Prosperity Treasure Sets priced at RM838nett and RM1,088nett and appropriate for groups of 5 come with Salmon Yee Sang and a Prosperity Treasure Pot. The 7-course Double Happiness Set is priced at RM428nett is to be shared by 2 persons while the 8-course Chinese New Year Set for 6 persons is priced at RM988nett.
For diners dining with a group of 10 persons, the lavish 9-course set menus of Happiness Set, Fortune Set and Longevity Set are priced at RM1,598nett, RM1,988nett and RM2,888nett respectively. These set menus come with Yee Sang for diners to toss to their luck and good fortune.
