Being one of the famous hangout places in Klang Valley. Signature By The Hill is one of the most sought venues to open this year. Signature offers Asian and International Fusion dishes in a very classy setting while at the otherside, The Roof combines a sports bar, whiskey lounge and Stratosphere; the helipad bar that has all but redefined the KL nightlife scene.

– The interior –

In here, Signature wins the stunning view of Petaling Jaya and it is one of the best time viewing them in the dark or sometimes epic sunsets that you can observe via the window. The beautiful setup with the solid wooden tables that can seat up to eight or more. The tables and design comes awesomely beautiful with the huge tree dominates the middle of the room.

We started off with the Signature Summer Salad which is being served with the Soft Shell crab where it is graciously standing on the bed of Arugula with Plancha. At the other side, it served together with the Signature Tangy Mango Summer Salad. The appetizing salad is perfectling awesome and filled with the zestiness in it. I love how it is being served. As for the soft shell crab, The crunchy, it comes sightly salty but once I combined with the herb-ish rocket and sweet salad make a refreshing bite. The awesome platter is being paired with the Weingut Dr Loosen Riesling Qua.

Stick to their Seafood theme, their Signature Clear Coconut Seafood Soup makes it to my favorite of all. This is simply my favorite where the clear coconut seafood soup is beautifully paired with the Chilean Chardonnay. Filled with a variety of seafood like prawns, clams and squid, this clear soup is really clear and light rather than creamy or oily. Every spoonful of the clear coconut soup is amazed where the mild sweet flavored  soup which the herbs and spices in it. In it, you can get the giant prawns and squid swimming in it. Dancing in the mouth, the soup together with the seafood comes huge and bolstering the sweetness of the seafood. Awesome! Paired together with Terrazas Chardonnay where the wine comes a little dry to me.

– Look at the juicy beef-

As for the mains, diners can choose either to sample the beef or the fish. As for the beef, Signatures offers you with the Striploin steak with teriyaki glaze served with saffron infused capelini and sautéed vegetables. The striploin steak comes fun where diners can choose how they love their beef strips to be where the diners can grilled their meat at their own preferred temperature. For us, we love to have them medium – rare where each mouthful is complete with the exploding flavor of teriyaki as well as the tender and juicy meat in it. It is so awesome, where we just hope we have the 2nd plate to be enjoyed. Served together is the saffron-infused angel hair capelini pasta which is well compliments. The asye is awesomely good. The dish is paired with the Chandon Shiraz which compliments well with the dish itself.

For fish lovers, they have the Crispy Baramundi to welcome you. The Pan-fried Baramundi served Oriental style with Vietnamese glass noodleis making my day. The pan fried fish with the added of little Oriental Sauce on top brings us with the appetizing temptations. The caramelized and yet flaky meat of the thick Baramundi is awesomely delicious complete with the freshness and sweetness in it. The flavours are awesome and it is well matched with the blanched Vietnamese glass noodle and a glass of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc.

Ended with the Signature Chendol with a Twist. Chendol comes pretty normal to Malaysian but Signature’s brings the chendol to us with a different way. The presentation comes awesome where it is served in smoky feeling from the dry ice base. The delicacies comes special where they have the first layer that comes sweet and layered below is the creamy homemade coconut ice cream. It also being served with the pandan moose underneath and red bean below which creates a chewy dimension. The delights indeed special to us but it is a heavy ending due to the creamy ice cream.

Signature’s MIGF menu will be available for order from the 1st to 31st October 2014. The full menu is priced at RM349nett (with wine) and RM249nett (without wine) for all 4 courses. Alternatively, they also have a light menu priced at RM289 nett (with wine) and RM189 nett (without wine) for a 3-course set that comes without the soup.
