COSMOPOLITAN HOTEL HONG KONG BUMPS UP INTERNET SPEED TO 200MBPS AND INSTALLS HIGH PERFORMANCE ROUTER WITH MULTIPLE CONNECTIVITY UP TO TEN DEVICES IN ALL GUEST ROOMS

Award-wining 4-star contemporary hotel – Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong, has recently invested more than HK$1.5mil on upgrading its internet infrastructure. The upgrade involves bumping up the internet speed to 200Mbps and installing a high performance router that can support up to ten WiFi enabled electronic devices simultaneously in all its 454 rooms and suites. This is the hotel’s second largest project after the renovation project this year, which aims to meet the ever-changing needs of travellers.

“Offering internet service might not be that newsy anymore, but with business travellers nowadays increasingly relying on technology to keep up with their workload or stay in touch with their business counterparts while on the road, the need for a super fast and super reliable internet connection with multiple connectivity still poses a challenge for many mid-scale or even some high-end hotels.”

“By upgrading our internet infrastructure, we are proud to say that we are not only committed to consistently deliver a first-class service and accommodation to our guests, we are making their stay a truly productive one by offering a highly efficient workspace within the comfort of our rooms,” said Ms. Anita Chan, the General Manager of Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong.

All Guest Rooms Feature Fiber-Optic Internet Connection with Speed Up to 200Mbps and Multiple Devices Connectivity

This million dollar upgrade aims to bring an unmatched convenience to its guests with 24-hour uninterrupted internet connection at blazing speed of up to 200Mbps in all guest rooms. Thanks to the high-speed and reliable internet connection, video conferencing can now be done effortlessly in every hotel room.

Every guest room is also equipped with a high performance multiservice dual-band wireless router which can support up to ten devices simultaneously. And the great news is – no extra charge for the additional devices connecting to the internet within the same room and absolutely no limits on internet download. Business travellers can be assured of a productive stay at Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong all hours with this massive upgrade. Guests book via the hotel official website will automatically entitle to this service for free.
Demand Increases for All-inclusive Business Package Which Comes With Additional Discount, Free High-speed Internet, High Level of Flexibility and Relaxation

The hotel is also expecting an increase in demand for its Business Package which is currently on offer on the hotel official website. The Package has been upgraded to include free new internet service and a 25-min relaxation massage. Other attractive perks are 20% off the best available rate for two nights stay at any of these room types – Superior Room, the newly renovated Grand Deluxe Course View Room, award-winning SONY’s 3D Entertainment Suite or OSIM Massage Suite. Complimentary free-flow of standard drinks during Networking Hour at Nooch Bar daily from 5pm – 8pm; HK$120 daily allowance on laundry service and sumptuous daily buffet breakfast for two.
