“RASA KAMPUNG BUFFET” AT TROPICANA GOLF & COUNTRY RESORT

Tropicana Golf and Country Resort Berhad, Malaysia’s largest clubhouse (450,000 sq feet(|) and the award winning Golf Resort with recent award by ParGolf Award for Most Improved Golf Course 2012, marks a decade in the “legendry” Berbuka Puasa buffet during the Holy Month.

This year with the theme “Rasa Kampung Buffet” TGCT would like to bring back everyone’s joyful “kampung” memories in a nostalgic ambience while enjoyg the fusion “kampung” memories in a nostalgic ambiene facing the beautiful golf cpurse while enjoying the fusion “Kampung” cuisine and listening to a 5 piece Ghazal band that performs daily with famous and catchy “kampung” tunes with family and loved ones.

Woth the array of mouthwatering”Kampung “ dishes in a bazaar setting where they have 29 lives stalls which is sectioned and categorized.

Warung Gulai Kawah, feauring the beef and new choice of Kampung Ayam, Warung Ah Hock serves the renowned Penang Fried Koay Teow while the Warung Breakfast serves the heartwarming breakfast’s menu with live stall choices such as American Breakfast. Omelets, Scramble Eggs, Grilled Tomatos, Sauteed Mushrooms and et cetera.

Besides that, Chef Hadi Kadir ( Action Section Head) and his team created a few new fusion dishes to be highlighted this year. The dishes are Fusion Style Beef Rendang Penne, Nasi Kerabu serve with Ulam, Ikan Panggang and Ayam Percik, Teppanyaki and more. While on the main course section, there are five different sets of menu that consist of more than 100 items from locak , Chinese, Indian, Japanese, and Western cuisines will be presented on a rotation basis with the buffet line stretches from the Coffee House, Main Lounge, Golfers’ Terrance to Golfter’ Lounge. We explore the variety of the ramadhan delights to have them.

Lemang, Ketupat is something not to be missed in Ramadan Buffet. It is just enjoyable with the serunding which is being served together and have a mix of it.

Some lovely Malaysian style appetizers including my favorite Mango Kerabu can be found on the buffet spread. Not only that, they have tempoyak, budu,cencaluk, sambal tumbuk ikan bilis, sambal tumbuk kelapa,cencaluk and more too in their bueffet spread,

A variety of soups is available in the buffet spread too. If you are favour for soips do try their lovely soups there from the western till the Malay

The famous Malays soup – Sup tulang is also available in the buffet itself. Not that only, you can also savor the Sup Urat Keting, Sup Gear Box lamp as well as the Sup Daging too.

I am tempting for some Italian too and they have the variety of Italian delights to offer includes cabonara, and more. Beef ball Fettuchini is one of the highlights for Italian as well.

BBQ items are also available in the buffet spread. Lovely bbq lamb, bbq fish and more is just so much and deliciously made.

Favour for some satay, they have the selection of chicken satay as well as beef satay in their spread. Not only that, chicken and duck rice are aslo available in the buffet spread as well. Juicy and tender meat is simply delicious. It is also being served with the chef’s chicken rice together with it.

Lok lok is another item which is Malaysian favorites too which is being served in the buffet spread,

We also ends the meals with the “Yau Char Koay”, “ Pisang Goreng:, cucur udang, vadai, keropok lekor, cakoi, ubi kayu rebus and more.

Warung Apam Balik will be servng the apam balik with the choice of coconut, chocolate rice, sweet corn or cheese as well.

The buffet will not be stopping at the Warung Anika Bubur where here you can get the variety of bubur durian, bubur pulut hitam, pengat keladi as well as Puteri Mandi

Snacks of Malaysian would be just lovely in the buffet. Peanuts and crackers variety can be found here

Dessserts and Pasteries is just good to end our meal. The selection of the Malay Kuih, Agar Agar, Assorted cut cakes,assorted Danish pasteries and more are also available in the buffet spread.

Ice Cream Potong to savour our tummy with sweet ice cream delights.

We enjoy and ended the meals at their warung Dusun which is filled with a variety of local fruits with the rojak paste and asam as well.

As for their bevarege, they cater a large variety of drinks which includes-sugar cane, barli, air mata Kuching, laichi and more.

The buffet are pricesd at the reasonable rate which is at RM 70++ ( Members) ; RM 80++ ( Non Members) for adults while children are at RM 35++ ( Member) and RM 40++( non member). All prices are subkectedwith 6% government tax and 10% service charge
