ICE ROOM, SRI GOMBAK

August 2, 2011 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review 1 Comment

Ice Room is one my visit recently due the super hot weather in Malaysia. The restaurant is painted in green and is so sweet in color. Ice Room, as it’s names suggested, serves snow ice dessert. The restaurant not only serve their signature shaved ice in various flavors but also wide variety of snacks, western cuisines, local delights, congee & soup.

Kiwi snow ice is one of the order today, The shaved ice is simply smooth and the texture is very good and tasty. The ice is well blended till the texture is melting in the mouth. Nice and delighting
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 7.90

Passion fruit snow ice is where it serves with the Passion fruit flavours on it. The taste is slightly sour sweet but it is kinda refreshing
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 7.90

just tonight i visited the one at sri gombak.first thing i saw when i stepped in were flies.flies on the table, flies on the tissue box.i called the waiter and told him about it,he responded”flies are good”.i was shocked.but i take it as he was making a bad joke.i thought to myself do i really want to eat at a place where the waiter doesnt mind flies.but i still ordered anyway.my family were there as well.before the snowice came,i saw the same waiter grabbing 4 spoons,n then turned his back at us n was doing something that looked very suspicious.im not sure what but it didnt look like something good.then he gave us the spoon with an evil grin.n while we were eating flies continue buzzing around us.i think u need to look into ur store cleanliness since i saw an “a” sign but the reality showed the opposite. U might also want to keep an eye on this waiter,he was the taller one, there were 2 waiters tonite and one was making the ice,the other was serving. it was the serving one.maybe he needs to be fired.i have seen reviews on foursquare about ur waiter giving attitude as well.
