Rise & Shine by Tapestry @ Jalan Kamunting, Chow Kit

December 6, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Tapestry is one of the Instagram friendly outlet to visit. Being one of my favourite outlet now, Tapestry is located just opposite the iconic “The Stripes Hotel Kuala Lumpur” and 5 minutes’ walk from Dang Wangi LRT.

Tapestry brings you with the classic and yet elegant exterior that will definitely wow you from the outside. The restaurant brings you with the beautiful rustic interior. Upon entering, you will actually falling in love with the rustic chandelier with the bricked flooring walls together with the colourful tiled tables and classic Instagram-friendly tableware.

It is indeed a beautiful touch of the outlet where the owners had put so much efforts from the interior design to the tableware and also the menu.  And recently, Tapestry comes up with their new flavours which is the East meets West in its variation of brunch, spiced with the local flavours.

Field of Mushrooms (RM25+ )

For mushroom lovers, you will definitely in love with their Field of Mushrooms. One can enjoy the mushrooms together with sauteed edamame, chives with Grana Padano shaving on home-made sourdough bread. I am loving the mushroomy taste of it and the taste is just perfect to my tastebuds.

Soba (RM28+)

If you love the twist of Japanese, grab this awesome Soba which is packed with the beautiful fresh ingredient  such as spring onion, seaweed, bonito flakes, chicken and battered egg yolk. I love the slurpilicious sensation and every mouthful is divinely good!

Rise & Shine Eggs Benedict  (RM 28+ )

Rise & Shine Eggs Benedict  (RM 28) is one of my favourites here.  One can enjoy the beautifully poached chicken egg together with their juicy beetroot-cured salmon sitting on a bubble and squeak with the fragrantly drizzled hollandise sauce that have a twist of bunga kantan in it. I am falling in love with the twist and it brings me with the refreshing bites.

Grilled Chicken Burger

We ended with the juicy chicken burger. The chicken burger is beautifully served with the charred radish served on a toasted burger bun with a side of fries and fennel salad. A homey and yet delicious burger to go for!

And of course, I do enjoy their coffee too.  The lovely cup of cappuccino brings me a happy face to end my brunch here at Tapestry.
