NANA’S GREEN TEA CAFÉ @ 1 UTAMA

NANA GREEN TEA

Nana’s Green Tea Café; a brand which had made a debut in Mid Valley had made their second outlet in 1 Utama. The famous brand brings you with the more delicious items and not just that, they have more sitting place here compared to Mid Valley.

With the different concepts this round, the restaurant comes much more bigger sitting capacity as well as a different concepts. Interior design by a Japanese designer, the concepts comes to be a fan style with the brown parquet laying on top with small bright lights.It’s interior designs are pretty much lovely and brings you with a spacious sitting capacity compare to The Gardens.

Experience the beauty of Autumn in Japan with the Kuri Mont Blanc Parfait 栗のモンブランパフェ(RM 19.80). The wholesome parfiatt comes with the blend of chesnut temptations which brings us with the mouthwatering temptions. On top, it is topped with cornflakes and mochi with it.

As for the Kuri Shiratama Soft Cream Latte 栗白玉ソフトクリームラテ (RM 13.80), the awesome cold temptations comes pretty creamy and soothing. The original blend of the white bean paste together with the chesnut and milk is topped with the soft serve vanila ice cream and mochi with it.

Only available in 1 Utama outlets, Kuri Mont Blanc Hotcake 栗のモンブランホットケーキ (RM 16.80) , it comes with the Nana’s Green Tea fluffy and soft japanese hotcakes topped with Chestnut cream. I love the fluffy and yet soft texture of the japanese hotcakes and it goes well with the chessnut cream and ice cream. Nice combination.

As for the starters, we started with the Salmon Carpaccio サーモンのお刺身サラダ (RM 15.80) is indeed a great one to try off. The fresh salmon carpaccio is well served together with the pea sprouts, capsicum, cucumber, tomato and black sesame sauce. Each bites of the Salmon Carpaccio brings us with the appetizing blend of delights with the zesty temptations in it.

As for the Mentaiko Salad Udon 明太子サラダうどん (RM 16.90), it is not just a normal salad but it comes with the mentaiko taste in it. The cold udon noodles are being served with the Mentaiko, broccoli, corn, tomato, leaf lettuce and mayonnaise in cold soup. The cold delights is uniquely done and filled with the fragrant on mentaiko taste in it.

Mains is finally here. We had the Shogayaki Chicken 鷄のしょうが焼き (RM 16.80) where the tender juicy stir chicken is being stir fried with the ginger sauce and shimeji mushroom. The unique mixtire of the sweet and light spiciness blend with the twist of gingery taste is such a divine delight. Served together with the healthy blend of rice and home made mashed potato.

In here, you can find some of the new release for Nana Green Tea, This includes the Chicken Teriyakiチキン照り焼き (RM 16.80) where the tender moist chicken fillet is well cooked with the fragrant teriyaki sauce and topped with sesame on top. Served togther with the warm millet rice and garnished together with the red leaf lettuce, broccoli, tomato, potato salad. The wholesome delights assured to filled up your tummy with a healthy blend of delights.

I love the Karaage Curry から揚げカレー(RM 16.80) that comes with the fragrant and creamy aromatic curry flavours. Topped on top with the crisy chicken karaage and also a warm millet rice.

Not just that, the Locomoco Hamburg ロコモコハンバーグ (RM 20.80) which is the signature in Nana’s Green Tea comes with the beef or chicken patty served with warm millet rice with “Homemade Tomato Locomoco Sauce” garnished with red leaf lettuce, capsicum, broccoli and Japanese style poached egg. THe hamburg is well done with the moist texture and it is well compliments with the flavourful sauce.

Salmon Udon with Cream Sauce サーモンクリームうどん (RM 18.80), is where the salmon is being served with broccoli, corn, black pepper and udon noodles in cream sauce. The dish comes pretty creamy.

End your meal with of course, Nana’s Green Tea signature which is the Matcha Kuromitsu Slushy 抹茶黑蜜フロート (RM9.80) where the cool matcha slushy is topped with the whipped cream and drizzle of caramelized brown sugar syrup. The creamy and icy blend odf the slushy comes absolutely good where the fragrance of the green tea can be tasted in it.

Not just that, the Hoji Shiratama Float ほうじ茶白玉フロート(RM14.80) where the lovely hoji latte is topped with the ice cream and mocha. The fragrant of the hoji had make a good match with the creamy icy ice cream which is awesomely good.

Not just that, we also had their signature Matcha “Nama Chocolate” Parfait 抹茶生チョコレートパフェ(RM 19.80) where the artisan dessert starting with a layer of Kanten jelly and Matcha syrup then topped with soft serve vanilla ice cream, generous layer of corn flakes and garnished with a Matcha Chocolate Ganache, red bean paste, whipped cream and a drizzle of Matcha syrup. The filling desserts are meant to be share and you will be sure to love this so much.

Kinako Warabimochi きな粉わらび餠 (RM 14.80) ; imported all the way from Japan makes it so good-licious where this jelly made starch dipped in Kinako (Sweet Toasted Soybean). It had a rather nice texture, and went very well with the Kinako
