Crossing Bridge Noodles @ Atria Shopping Gallery

September 8, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

We had heard loads about the famous legendary noodles and here we are at the Crossing Bridge Noodles.
The Crossing Bridge Noodles have a long history and they first opened back in Publika a few years back. Expanding their outlet in Atria, one now can enjoy the delicious Yunnan Dish here.
The legendary noodles are named “Crossing Bridge Noodles” where it started off with a scholar who was studying hard for his imperial exams on a small island. His wife would bring over foods for him who is studying at his preferred “quiet” place. When his wife found out that the noodles would be cold and the noodles would be soggy by the time she crossed the bridge to meet her scholar husband.
She then had an idea to load a large earthen pot with boiling broth with a layer of oil on top of that to keep the broth warm. The noodles and other ingredients were kept in a separate container, and when she arrived, she mixed the two containers together for a warm soup.
And since then, the noodles become popular and now you do not need to  visit Yunnan to enjoy this delicious noodles.

Mushroom Mixian Noodles
We started off with the Mushroom Mixian Noodles where the Mixian noodles are served with the slices of mushroom, shredded vegetables, egg, and noodles. They are served separately with the soup. What you need to do is one it is served, add all the ingredients together in the hot pipping soup and you can enjoy the slurpilicious noodles with the warm soup. For me, I always a fan of Mixian and they are just deliciously done.
Fish with Pickles
If you love some sourish blend, try their fish with pickles. The broth comes simply sourish but with the kick of spiciness in it. Fish remains its freshness and the soup comes just so addictive and I love the kick of spiciness in it.
Spare Ribs Rice
Rice lover can go for their Spare Ribs Rice. Enjoy the chunks of meat together with the generous portion of rice here. Love the flavours of the dish itself. The Spare Ribs Rice is simply delicious and every mouthful is packed with flavours.
And one can actually order their signature fried dumplings and signature preserved egg as snacks too. For those who love to have some cosy dishes, you can visit Crossing Bridge for this Yunnan dishes.
