Botanica+Co @ Bangsar South

August 31, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

A restaurant I fell in love with – Botanica+Co. A place where you can spend your whole day with wide variety choices of food that serves you from morning to night.

Located at The Vertical, Bangsar South City, the restaurant is cosy with ample sitting space. With variety choices of sitting space, the restaurant brings you different dining areas such as the outdoor – cater to big groups and gatherings, café style – prefect for lifestyle Instagram shoots, bar style dining – for those who wants that chillax with friends with a drink or two, the indoor dining area – where it is filled with lush green of beautiful botanics, the feeling of dining outdoor amidst lush greenery is captured inside the restaurant as you dine amidst a greenhouse-themed interior.

Botanica+Co is produce-driven, therefore our chef pays special attention to importing quality ingredients and also in sourcing for the best and freshest local produce every day. This is your hangout for unpretentious hearty food, great drinks and warm conversations for every spirit and occasion.

Being here, we are recommended with their wide selection of delighting choices of food such as their Signature The Bo+Co Truffle Fries, Botanica Laksa, and many more.

The Bo+Co Truffle Fries (RM 28)

We started our meal here with their signature must have truffle fries. Using the premium potatoes, the crispy USA shoestring fries is perfectly deep fried till golden yellow. It is then, tossed with truffle oil & grated Parmesan cheese. This is such an indulgence where I can just enjoy the whole plate munching this all by myself.

Superfood Salad (RM 28)

Salad lover must have this. The healthy bowl of goodness where you can have a full packed of vitamins, energy in one bowl. The colorful bowl of salad comes simply delicious where you can have the quinoa, blueberry, roasted almond, sunflower seed, goji berry, pumpkin, spinach with the baby romaine lettuce. It is then topped with the orange rosemary dressing!

The Botanica Laksa (RM 41)

Help yourself with their deliciously packed of goodness Botanica Laksa. This is one of my favorite, for sure! One can enjoy the awesome kick of spiciness with the aromatic blend of chili.  The Laksa broth is cooked with flower crabs, seafood, laksa pesto & special chilli paste and then it is topped with the tiger prawn, poached chicken, julienned fish cake, silver sprouts & quail egg. Such a slurpilicious dish to have.

Halibut Fish & Chips (RM 41)

Their fish and chips indeed impressed me! I truly enjoyed the crispy golden-brown Fish and Chips which is perfectly deep-fried. They are served together with the steak fries & tartar sauce. Yummz !

Tom Yum Goong Pizza (RM 68)

One can enjoy pizza with a twist of Thai. For this seasonal pizza, we love how they topped the fresh tiger prawns, Thai basil, oyster mushroom and the Botanica’s secret tom yum sauce on their house-made dough. The pizza’s crust has this crunch at the sides and it is indeed addictively good, bringing you that light burst of spiciness with the hint of basil in it.

Chicken Katsu Don (RM 25)

The Chicken Katsu Don fare a good mark too. One can enjoy the lovely Japanese fare in one place. You can have the Deep-Fried Chicken Cutlet which is well served with their house-made tonkatsu sauce & truffle mayo. Nicely done and the chicken comes simply tender.

Churros Donut Stack

We ends with their signature Donut-shaped churros stack. Beautifully topped with vanilla ice-cream, drizzled with caramel & chocolate. A sweet temptation to end your meal.

As for drinks, one can enjoy a variety choices of their signature coolers and sodas. A MUST try includes the Asam Boi Soda Kafir Lime & Lemongrass Cooler and Raspberry Lemongrass Soda. They are simply refreshing!

For those who are looking for a great dining experience in Bangsar South, do go for Botanica+Co as they offer you with delicious meals and great ambiance. Kudos to their staff as they are very strict when we arrived at their outlet.

Putting customer health of the priority, when entering to Botanica + Co, we undergo scanning our details via MySejahtera and temperature taking. As for menu, it will be contactless menu where we need to scan the code to view their menu. Not just that, they also provide us with the paper bag to keep our mask in it when dining.
