I am certain our guests will relish in his new creations’

“I am looking forward to blending my love of fresh and locally sourced ingredients in Langkawi with the various techniques I have acquired in my experience. With our new wholesome menu, I think we have struck the balance of creativity and delicacy,” said Chef Jiro.

Prior to joining The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa, he served as Chef De Cuisine at The Andaman, a Luxury Collection Resort Langkawi, as well as at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, and The Westin Kuala Lumpur, where he started as Chef De Partie and eventually moved up through the ranks.

One of his signature dishes is Land and Sea Combination of Half Grilled Lobster with Char Grilled Black Angus Prime Beef Tenderloin, served with Asian-style couscous and buttered asparagus.
