PASTRIES @ LOBBY LOUNGE, GRAND HYATT MACAU

October 8, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

At the heart of the hotel is the Lobby Lounge – highlighted by a striking cluster of copper art pieces, Lobby Lounge is an ideal venue for casual dining and gathering among friends. The lounge also features Pâtisserie, offering a wide variety of sweets, such as the famous authentic Portuguese egg tart and a selection of cakes and homemade chocolates. While enjoying these treats, guests are entertained by performances of the live band, accompanied by traditional Chinese and Western musical instruments.

Started with their Pastries, they have a great variety of delish beautiful pasteries which is being created  by their experience Chef. Each pastries is priced at MOP38 each.

Saint Honore Chestnut (法式栗子泡芙撻)  where the French sensation comes amazingly good with the moist texture and the light sweetness in it. Just love the melts in the mouth sensation.

Le Printemps (春之韻) is amazingly good. Served in golden yellow; where the cake is topped with the mango and champagne jelly and cake is pandan flavours. Sides with the white chocolate.

Black Forest Gateau (黑森林蛋糕) is another word for black forest cake but it is touch with the fragrant chocolate glazed and also the creamy yet fragrant black forest in between. Nice and good!

Mango & Passion Fruit Eclair(芒果热情果泡芙) brings you with both sweet and sourish touch. The mango brings you a fragrant blend but with the passion fruit added to it ; it made a sweet sourish touch. Nicely done!

Mascarpone Éclair(意式芝士泡芙) comes with the lovely creamy mascarpone  which is blend with the mascarpone with it. The desserts is sinfully good and give us a melts in the mouth sensation.

The  Strawberry Fruit Cake(草莓水果蛋糕) give us a blend of fruity strawberry taste in it with the huge strawberry on top. Beautifully presented

Saint Honore (法式雲呢拿泡芙撻) is one of the Portuguese Signature desserts. The lovely desserts with the vanilla fragrant in it is simply delicious and we give double thumbs up.

Caramel Sea Salt Opera(法式歌劇院蛋糕) which is heavenly good.Using the seasalt buttercream, butter and caramel to make the cake, the chef had added with the chocolate garnishing and orange juice zest with it. Layered between with the hazelnut cream. Awesomely good.

German Cheese Cake(德国芝士蛋糕) is amazingly good. Using the ricola cheese to baked; it is topped with some blueberry on top. For those who are not a sweet bites person, they can choose to have this as it bring you with some light salty taste.

Aside, one can also enjoy their Afternoon Tea Set where the refined afternoon tea set will be served daily from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where guests can dine from a beautiful hand-hammered silver stand commissioned especially by Grand Hyatt Macau. The afternoon tea set includes:

-Daily French Pastries

-Portuguese Vanilla and Pistachio Egg Tarts
