33. Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 with Artisanal Mooncake Collection

August 20, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur welcomes the Mid-Autumn Festival with a thoughtfully curated collection of handcrafted mooncakes that brings together cherished traditions and fresh expressions of flavour.

Guided by Chef Ng Meng Loong of Yun House, the hotel’s Michelin-selected Cantonese restaurant, this year’s collection celebrates the spirit of reunion through refined craftsmanship, premium ingredients and a balance of heritage and contemporary creativity.

A New Seasonal Creation

Leading the 2026 collection is Chef Loong’s new Bird’s Nest, Dragon Fruit and Pecan Nuts Snow Skin Mooncake (MYR 69), created exclusively for the festive season.

Delicate snow skin infused with mint, dragon fruit and orchid envelops a luxurious filling of lotus seed paste, red date and bird’s nest set in coconut milk, finished with pecan nuts for an added layer of texture.

Each bite unfolds gradually, from subtle floral notes and gentle sweetness to a silky richness that lingers on the palate.

The new creation joins a selection of popular snow skin favourites, including:

• Musang King Durian Paste — MYR 89

• Black Sesame Lotus Seed Paste with Almond — MYR 59

• White Lotus Seed Paste with Palm Sugar, Macadamia Nuts and Seaweed — MYR 59

Honouring the Classics

Alongside its contemporary snow skin creations, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur continues to celebrate the timeless appeal of traditional baked mooncakes.

The collection features five classic flavours, including:

• Pandan Lotus Seed Paste with Single Egg Yolk and Melon Seeds — MYR 47

• Red Bean Paste with Almond Flakes — MYR 47

• Eight-Nut Treasure — MYR 49

With more than two decades of experience in Chinese cuisine, Chef Loong brings precision and care to every mooncake, drawing on time-honoured techniques while exploring new possibilities in flavour, texture and presentation.

An Elegant Expression of Festive Gifting

The mooncakes are presented in an elegant, jewellery-inspired gift box dressed in auspicious shades of red, designed to elevate both festive gatherings and meaningful gifting traditions.

Mooncakes are available individually or in gift boxes.

Orders open on July 20, 2026, with collection available from August 1 to September 25, 2026.

Guests who place their orders before August 20, 2026, will enjoy 15% savings, while purchases of 20 or more boxes receive 10% savings.
