RENAISSANCE JOHOR BAHRU HOTEL UNVEILS: ÉCLAT DE LUNE: A RENAISSANCE MOONCAKE COLLECTION INSPIRED BY TIMELESS ELEGANCE

August 18, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel welcomes the Mid-Autumn season with the unveiling of Éclat de Lune, an exquisite Renaissance mooncake collection that celebrates the beauty of reunion, timeless traditions and meaningful connections through refined craftsmanship and contemporary elegance.

Inspired by the graceful bloom of florals beneath the moonlit sky, Éclat de Lune is thoughtfully presented in a luxurious blossom-inspired keepsake box that reflects the artistry of the season. More than a festive gift, the collection embodies the Renaissance Hotels spirit of discovery, bringing people together through authentic cultural experiences, memorable moments and heartfelt celebration

Curated by the hotel’s talented culinary artisans, each Halal-certified mooncake is meticulously handcrafted using premium ingredients, honouring cherished heritage recipes while embracing contemporary flavours. From traditional baked favourites to delicate snow skin creations, every mooncake is crafted with exceptional attention to detail, offering a refined interpretation of a timeless Mid-Autumn tradition.

This year’s collection introduces two delightful new snow skin creations; Rose Lychee, a delicate blend of fragrant rose and refreshing lychee, and Pandan Cheesecake, where the familiar aroma of pandan meets the rich creaminess of cheesecake. These contemporary flavours join an elegant selection of signature baked and snow skin mooncakes, including the luxurious Durian Snow Skin, thoughtfully curated to delight every palate while celebrating the season’s spirit of sharing.

“Mid-Autumn is a celebration of togetherness, and every mooncake we create carries that sentiment,” said Muhammad Syafiffi Tahir, Executive Chef, Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel. “With Éclat de Lune, our culinary team sought to honour traditions that have been cherished for generations while introducing refined flavours and contemporary craftsmanship. The addition of our new Rose Lychee and Pandan Cheesecake snow skin mooncakes reflects our passion for innovation while remaining rooted in the heritage of this beloved festival. We hope every handcrafted mooncake becomes part of our guests’ treasured moments with family, friends and loved ones.”

Available from NOW to 25 September 2026, the Éclat de Lune, a Renaissance mooncake collection is priced from MYR188 nett per box and features a thoughtfully curated assortment of handcrafted Halal-certified with no preservative baked and artisanal snow skin mooncakes. Guests can savour timeless classics alongside innovative flavours, making every box a celebration of craftsmanship, culture and discovery. To mark the launch, guests can enjoy 15% savings on all mooncake purchases until 25 August 2026, making it the perfect opportunity to celebrate the season or extend a meaningful gift to family, friends, colleagues and business associates.

Mooncakes are available for purchase at the Mooncake Booth located in the hotel lobby, open daily from 9:00am to 10:00pm, with advance orders available for both personal and corporate gifting. For any pre-order and more information, please call +6073813388 or email to [email protected].
