CHILLI RUSH, JAYA ONE

April 9, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

How hot can you go? Dare to challenge? Here you go to Chilli Rush. Chilli Rush is one of the cozy restaurant located in Jaya One just next to Wendy’s. The restaurant

One must-have meal at Chilli Rush is its very own signature “Signature Chicken Wings” are coated and spiced with special homemade sauce recipe – even flapping those wings to a whole new level by saucing and tossing them in a choice of 10 different spice levels, the 10th being “volcanic”. What had made the difference? In here, you can taste the spiciest chilli, Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Chilli) which is 15 times spicier than the chilli padi. The chilies here are imported from all over the world such as Mexico, India and of course local.

Being there, we started our meals with the Mixed Platter. One of the winning trio at Chilli Rush, the dish is served with the 3 items which is nachos, meatballs as well as the fish cutlet which is being served with a side of a Mediterranean Salad. Well served, the platter is amazingly good and lovely where I love the fish cutlet the most. Bringing the taste of a light spiciness, it is also bringing the springy and filled with the wonderful condiments in it. The nachos are also good which is very crunchy and the combination with the sauce that comes together, it made them even more perfect.
Price: RM 22.90

Pan Fried Dory in Cheesy Spinach Pasta is another item not to be missed in Chilli Rush. One of the signature items where the dory fillet is being served on the pasta in rich cheese, spinach, cream, and garlic combination sauce. The pasta is well served and the sauce is simply thick and creamy. It is served together with the well pan fried dory which they offer a generorous portion of it. I found it too creamy which is not really my favorite.
Price: RM 23.90

Ayam Percik with Nasi Bojari and Acar is one of my favorite. The Malaysian stuyle of the BBQ, the ayam percik is simply well done with the blend of the herbs in it. Its chicken is well marinated and the tatse is simply smoky with the tender and juicy meat. Served together with it is their speciality acar as well as the nasi bojari together. I am just falling in love with the dish as everything is just so good and filing as well.
Price: RM 18.90

Lamb Shank with Wild Rice is another signature item in Chilli Rush. The lamb is being slow cooked for several of hours and topped with their home made sauce. Well cooked and infused with the sauce, the lamb is tender and yet flavorful with the spicy sauce which is being served together with it. It is being served together with the garden vegetable salads as well as the wild rice.

Next comes the highlights of the night which is their Signature Chicken Wings. Being served with 10 level of spiciness, we had started ours with the Chilli Rush Chicken Wings with the Level 2. All the chicken wings are being marinated with their secret chili sauce and when we started with Level 2, the kick is totally not there and it is just a piece of cake to try them off. The spiciness is below par and it has a light sweetness. As so, chef prepared the Level 6 chicken wings for us to try next.
Price: RM 12.90

Next come the Level 6, and the spiciness of the Chicken Wings is alike having some chilli padi in the chicken wings. It is quite spicy for this where I am not too dare to grab more and just a piece of it.
Price: RM 12.90

The guys felt the taste is still acceptable and they jumped up to Level 10. With just chicken wings, their faces turn red and sweating all the way when trying them. Can’t imagine how spicy the chicken is ? We are definately salute those who had entered the chicken rush and completing them. That’s a great courage of them.

After some spicy meals, we complete our meals with some desserts. Red Velvet Cake well done with the moist textures and layers of cream in between. The cakes is simply delicious and good which I give a thumbs up for it. It is definately a comeback for these cake.
Price: RM 11.90/ piece ( RM 140/cake)

The Caramellised Pannacotta with Peaches are also another nice desserts in Chilli Rush. The light Italian vanilla cream mousese are being topped with the peaches is sinfully good. Smooth and creamy texture of the desserts do melts our hearts down with it and this ends our meals for the day.
Price: RM 9.90
