Troika Sky Dining has unveiled the all-new Fritz, an elegant dining experience offering classic French cuisine with global influences, occupying the space that once was Cantaloupe.

On the menu, finely crafted dishes such as the classic Foie Gras Landaise, Steak Flambé au Poivre Vert, Truite aux Amandes and Crêpes Suzette share a space with new creations like the Olive Oil Poached Seabass on Root Vegetables and the Grilled Prawn Choucroute. Table Service takes centre stage and the experienced team will flambé some of the dishes, carve the Beef Wellington and the Dry Aged Duck at your table side and serve you a glorious cheese selection from our custom made cheese trolley imported all the way from Milan.

“We want to offer really good, unfussy food that puts a smile on your face” says Christian Bauer, Executive Chef and Director of Troika Sky Dining. “We have moved on from fussy food, from trying to impress with technique. It’s about getting the best quality ingredients, treating them with respect and allowing them to shine. Good technique has to be there, but it sits quietly in the back seat, seen but not heard. We make pretty much everything ourselves, from the cultured butter we serve our guests with homemade bread to the dried and fresh sausages and the cured meats and of course our delicious Pommes Fritz, the fries that take three days to make”.

In an era where ‘tweezered’ food seems to have taken over the scene at most upmarket restaurants, Fritz strives to take a step back and simplify, inviting diners to escape to an oasis of calm, and return to enjoyable eating that doesn’t intimidate.

Fritz seats up to 65 guests indoors, 30 al fresco on balconies with stunning city views and 10 in the beautiful new private room with its own little balcony. The restaurant features a stunning bar with a pewter bar top commissioned from Royal Selangor, two chandeliers manufactured from recycled metal, designed by local artist Tan Wei Ming, and a striking abstract painting by Jonathan Waltman.

Fritz may at first look grand, but it is a comfortable, cosy space, unpretentious and friendly. English leather and French velvet banquettes you can sink into and bird’s eye views of Kuala Lumpur city centre enhance the experience.
Fritz is open daily for dinner. The Happiest Hour on Earth where one-for-one on premium pours from highballs to spritzers, beers and wines, is celebrated daily from 5:00pm. The Fritz Sunday Lunch, a delicious multi course feast is held on the last Sunday of each month.
