Cheese enthusiasts, influencers, and industry partners gathered for an indulgent celebration of all things cheese at The Ultimate California Cheese Party 2026, hosted by Real California Milk at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

The vibrant event brought together guests for an afternoon filled with tastings, interactive experiences, and culinary creativity, showcasing the diversity and quality of California’s natural and artisan cheeses.



Attendees were welcomed with curated goodie bags before exploring an extensive cheese showcase featuring a wide variety of products, from everyday favourites to premium artisan selections. The event highlighted California’s reputation as the leading dairy-producing state in the United States, known for its ideal climate, high-quality standards, and commitment to food safety.




Adding to the experience, guests participated in interactive activities, including a lively photobooth session and social media sharing using event hashtags, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere throughout the day.

A key highlight was an exclusive presentation and tasting session led by Lynn Giacomini Stray, Co-Founder and CEO of Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company. Guests were introduced to the heritage and craftsmanship behind the brand’s award-winning cheeses, sampling a curated selection that included Point Reyes Bay Blue, Gouda, Toma Truffle, TomaRashi, and Toma Cheese — each offering distinctive flavour profiles ranging from creamy and buttery to earthy and bold.

Significantly, the event also underscored the availability of halal-certified Point Reyes Farmstead cheeses, making premium artisan products more accessible to Muslim consumers in Malaysia and reinforcing the brand’s commitment to inclusivity and quality.

The culinary segment of the event further demonstrated the versatility of California cheeses. Group Executive Chef Fazil Shahreen of The Olive Tree Group presented a live cooking demonstration, delighting guests with dishes such as corn croquettes, rice kheer, and stuffed scallop wing — illustrating how cheese can elevate both savoury and sweet creations.

Chef Aison Osman Wong, founder of Aison Bakery, added another layer of inspiration by showcasing his signature blue cheese sourdough and focaccia, highlighting how premium cheeses can be incorporated into everyday baking.
The excitement continued with a DIY Cheese Board Competition, where participants crafted their own boards using a selection of cheeses and ingredients. The friendly contest encouraged creativity, with guests sharing their creations online before the event concluded with a group photo and prize presentation.
