FIRST PRIDE MAKES HISTORY AS NUGGET O’CLOCK, THE LARGEST NUGGET FESTIVAL SETS A NEW MALAYSIA BOOK OF RECORDS TITLE

December 1, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

Snacking has become a cultural staple for Malaysians and as the #1 Favourite Chicken Nugget Brand in Malaysia*, First Pride continues to champion this growing trend by bringing people together through First Pride’s Nugget O’Clock Largest Nugget Festival. The two-day celebration at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya welcomed thousands of visitors and transformed everyday snacking into a lively community experience.

“Snacking today is an everyday delight for Malaysians, an anytime ritual enjoyed by all ages – and we’re proud to be part of that,” said Freddie Wong, Marketing Director of Tyson Foods Malaysia. “It’s an honour to be recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records with our First Pride’s Nugget O’Clock Largest Nugget Festival. We’ll continue to bring fun and convenience to Malaysians, whenever they are craving for some flavorful nuggets.”

Across the weekend, festival-goers enjoyed a vibrant mix of games, freebies, interactive booths and an endless flow of nuggets where each booth engagement rewarded attendees with nuggets to enjoy. The event also featured a special live performance by Asyraf Nasir, who debuted the all-new Nugget O’Clock jingle, further anchoring the brand’s mission to make every moment a fun, snack-worthy one.

As part of the celebration, First Pride shared 21,064 nuggets with visitors – a collective effort that officially secured a Malaysia Book of Records title for the “Most Nuggets Giveaway in an Event.”

The record was achieved through overwhelming public participation, with attendees receiving nuggets at every booth interaction, turning individual snacking moments into one shared achievement. The recognition was presented to First Pride during the festival, marking a significant milestone and reinforcing its position as the nation’s go-to snacking brand.

With the record now set, Nugget O’Clock with First Pride marks the beginning of a new cultural moment – one that celebrates the joy of snacking anytime, anywhere and with anyone.
