UNWRAP THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS WITH M WORLD HOTEL PETALING JAYA

December 19, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

The festive season brings with it a sense of joy, warmth, and togetherness, and this year, M World Hotel Petaling Jaya invites everyone to revel in the magic of Christmas. Formerly known as AVANTÉ Hotel, the newly rebranded M World Hotel is pulling out all the stops to ensure that guests experience the holiday season like never before. With spectacular decorations, delightful treats, and sumptuous feasts, the hotel is set to be the heart of Christmas celebrations in the city.

As soon as you step into the hotel lobby, the festive spirit embraces you with the tantalizing aroma of ginger and spices wafting from the Gingerbread House. This stunning structure, handcrafted by the hotel’s Engineering and Patisserie teams, is a visual and olfactory delight, evoking the nostalgia of classic Christmas.

But the magic doesn’t end there. Inside the Gingerbread House, a treasure trove of delectable Christmas goodies awaits. Guests can choose from an array of festive treats, such as Cherry Forest Log Cake, classic Fruit Cake, and Orange Poppyseed Cake, alongside beautifully crafted Ginger Chocolate Chip Cookies and the signature Gingerbread Cookies. For chocolate lovers, the Chocolate Concierge offers luxurious Bonbons in flavors like Yuzu, Balsamic Strawberry, and Caramel Truffle, as well as charming Chocolate Santas in various sizes. Popular bakery items, including Panettone and Christmas Scones, round out the perfect selection for gifting or sharing with loved ones.

No Christmas celebration is complete without a feast, and Indulge Coffee House (formerly Chek’s Coffee House) delivers an extraordinary dining experience. The hotel’s Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner and Christmas Day Hi-Tea Buffet feature a vast selection of dishes, each carefully prepared to celebrate the season’s abundance.

For seafood enthusiasts, the buffet includes freshly shucked oysters, snow crabs, prawns, and crayfish. Center stage is taken by golden Jumbo Roasted Chicken, rich and buttery Beef Wellington paired with cranberry and mushroom sauce, and perfectly cooked Yorkshire Pudding. The culinary journey continues with international flavors, including seafood paella, BBQ baby back ribs, herb-brushed rack of lamb, and the comforting warmth of lamb briyani and Mongolian stir fry.

The dessert spread is a sweet lover’s paradise, with yule log cake, Christmas pudding, mince pies, and ginger crème brûlée among the highlights. The chocolate fountain, complete with unlimited toppings, is sure to be a favorite for children and adults alike.

The Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner, priced at RM 218 nett for adults, RM 153 nett for seniors, and RM 109 nett for children, takes place on December 24 from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Meanwhile, the Christmas Day Hi-Tea Buffet, offered at RM 138 nett for adults, RM 97 nett for seniors, and RM 69 nett for children, runs from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on December 25. In-house guests enjoy a 20% discount, while selected bank cardholders can enjoy 10% discount on adult buffet prices.

Adding to the festive cheer, the Dithyrambic Christmas Choir will perform classic Christmas carols on December 24 and 25 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, creating an atmosphere of warmth and joy. Guests will also be treated to a special visit from Santa and Santarina, who will delight both the young and the young at heart with their merry presence.

This Christmas, gather your loved ones and head to M World Hotel Petaling Jaya for a celebration filled with joy, flavor, and festive charm. Let this be a season to remember, where every moment becomes a cherished memory.
