Introducing DORSETT KOPITIAM, a pop-up outlet by Dorsett Grand Subang

August 9, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

To celebrate Malaysia’s 66th National Day on 31st August 2023 and the 60th Malaysia Day; Dorsett Grand Subang will be launching its pop-up outlet Dorsett Kopitiam at the Hotel’s Lobby on 15th August 2023.

Considered a vital element of Malaysia’s culture and history, kopitiams have been around since the late 1800s and was the community gathering places then.  Join us and relive the charms of kopitiam…from mosaic-tiled floor to the overall nostalgic vibe; and of course the many ‘lepak-ing’ food goodness such as soft boiled kampung eggs; toast with butter and kaya, nasi lemak bungkus, Portuguese egg tarts, popiah goreng, cucur udang to curry puffs.  All items are priced at RM12.80 nett per order inclusive of a choice of beverage…milo, teh tarik, kopi lokal or Nescafe tarik.  A-la-carte beverage order is priced at RM6 nett per order.

And wasn’t a joy to nibble away at iced gem cookies…the crumbly biscuit with the colourful swirl of icing a the top; not forgetting those sugar-crusted Roti Kok that goes so well with that cup of steaming hot kopi?  All these and more will also be on sale at Dorsett Kopitiam…a small tin of 450 gm goes for RM18.00 nett or if you like, go for a bag of 100 gsm cookies at only RM6 nett.

Dorsett Kopitiam is open from 10.30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday until 16th September 2023.

With the state elections hitting home this Saturday, 12th August 2023, Dorsett Kopitiam will be opened on this significant day with a special offer:  Enjoy an extra cup of your favourite beverage with every order.  Redeem this one-day only special offer by showing your inked finger to our service team.
