Chulia Mansion by Moxy @ Georgetown

August 21, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

For those who are looking for a budget and yet a clean cosy space for vacation, Chulia Mansion is definitely the place to go. The hotel is located at Chulia Street where the street is packed with awesome food and history to venture too.

Chulia Mansion is well located in Georgetown and it brings you with cosy ambience and the room is simple but it is just nice for a short travel in the town. The hotel is well located and you can just walk about the town where one can venture for awesome hawker food within 500 metres where they have bar, coffee houses and even street food.

We had our weekend holiday there and we are really impressed with the overall room and location.

The Room .

The room is tastefully-furnished, air-conditioned rooms come with parquet flooring, a clothes rack, in-room safe, a desk and a flat-screen satellite TV. The private bathroom has shower facility, towels and hairdryer. An electric kettle is also included.

We had a family room which comes with 2 double bed and the room comes simply spacious as well. They also provide all the basic needs that you need during the stay which I give a double thumbs up.

Although the room did not provide any drinking water, you can get your water from their Coway dispenser located at the walkway. It is pretty convenient as you can choose to have them cold, warm or hot.

The room is clean and well-maintained as well the staff is very friendly as well. The aircond and all are well maintained and it does not look like a boutique hotel at all.

The bathroom completes with basic needs and hot shower too

The Location

They are well located at the prime location where you can walk around the town with an ease. They are about 600 metres to Little India and walking distance to Love Lane and Chowrasta Market. They are really convenient for those who are looking to venture the town area.

 Overall Experience

Overall, it is indeed a great experience staying in the hotel. Although they have limited parking, the service, location and cleanliness in indeed impressive and it would definitely be my next stay when I am back to Penang.
