Home / Food Review / Kong Yeah Restaurant @ Kepong

Kong Yeah Restaurant @ Kepong

July 30, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

We spotted the restaurant via Facebook and decided to try it. The restaurant is decorated in the Hong Kong Style and they serve some Hongkie delights such as Hong Kong Style Milk Tea, Egg Tarts, and many more.

The restaurant decoration indeed impressed me when walking in as they are decorated with the 90s decoration and completed with cassettes, old-fashioned fan, and more. The ambiance is pretty good which makes me go in to try the meals there.

Egg Tart

The egg tart is good. It is well layered and the custard is perfectly done. We love how it is done and each mouthful is delicious and yummy-licious.

French Toast

The Toast Bread is quite good and the toasted bread is well prepared and the portion is pretty generous. Layered with peanut butter and is well toasted. It is indeed aromatic and delicious and they are glazed with chocolate sauce. Yummy!

Chili Butter Chicken Rice

The Chili Butter Chicken Rice is a bomb The creamy sauce is well coated on the deep-fried chicken. The dish is amazingly delicious and superb. Love every bite of it.

Hong Kong Mix Coffee & Tea

The drink is a big disappointment. It is tasteless and very diluted which we think is not worth ordering.

Overall the food is on par except for the drink.
