Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel invites you to break fast with heritage flavours of Malay cuisine through two thematic buffet – ‘Citarasa Rantau’ at Feast and Santapan Iftar’ at the Grand Ballroom this holy month of fasting.

Ramadan is a time to embark on a spiritual journey of reflection as well as strengthen ties with friends and loved ones. Over the last year, many were unable to travel back home to spend time with families during the fasting month. The team at Sheraton Petaling Jaya would like to elevate your family bonding time this year with a wholesome buffet featuring specialty dishes from all 13 states of Malaysia, bringing back nostalgic kampung favourites and modern-day selections.

Enjoy a meaningful break fast with family and friends with a generous spread of nostalgic kampung favourites and modern-day selections. Start with local appetisers including Kerabu, Ulam-ulam Sambal, Cold Cuts with Smoked Chicken and Mushroom Lyonner, Greek and Russian Salads.

Treat your palate to a diverse food flavours such as Johor’s Nasi Briyani Gam, Malacca’s Nyonya Ikan Bawal Hitam Asam Pedas, Kelantan’s Ayam Percik, Rendang Daging Minang, Gulai Tempoyak Ikan Patin and more. Explore Arabic grill specials such as Iranian Kubbiedeh (Grilled Minced Lamb) and Shish Tawouk (Grilled Chicken Cubes). The Carving Station brings you Roasted Whole Lamb and Roasted Vegetables.

Western fanfare features Braised Mussels with Spicy Tomato and Celery, Braised Lamb with Root Vegetables, Roasted Herbal Chicken Thyme Sauce. Japanese food enthusiast can look forward to Sushi, Tempura Prawn, and a selection of Sashimi. Fresh Seafood on ice boasts Poached Prawns, Green Mussels, Crab, Clams and Yabbis. End your meal with selected sweet delights of fruits, desserts and thirstquenching Air Bandung, Air Selasih or Teh Tarik.

Find all things muhibbah at our Santapan Iftar buffet at the Grand Ballroom, with a buffet spread featuring a colourful delight of local classics and international favourites. Prepared in our halal certified banquet kitchen, highlights include live carving and grilling stations such as Lamb Roasts, Satay, Paseumbur, Bubur Lambuk and more. Enjoy the variety of Specialty Stalls serving Pasembur Rojak, Soup Station, Keropok Goreng, Bubur Lambuk with Condiments, Roti Canai and Murtabak and many more. Savor upon local 

Malay dishes such as Nyonya Ikan Asam Pedas, Ketam Lemak Cili Api, Ayam Percik Kelantan, Burung Puyuh Berempah. Indian specialty dishes include Tandori Chicken, Fish Masala. The most anticipated dish is our special whole roasted lamb marinated with Malay spices including turmeric, garlic, chili, coriander, and other spices before roasting at a low temperature for over two hours. End your meal with a line-up of mouth watering dessert such as Chocolate Tartelettes, Green Tea Sesame Bouchon, Tapai Pulut Bahulu, Red Velvet Slice and many more. A live ghazal ensemble performance will take centre stage to entertain your evening from 6:30pm onwards.
