On 11 August 2021, Samsung unveiled the latest Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G globally. A number of regions are reporting high pre-order volumes of the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G at present.
According to The Korea Herald, the pre-order figures suggest that both models are well-received by consumers. In South Korea, it is reported that an estimate of 450,000 units of the two foldable smartphones were pre-ordered as of 22 August 2021. The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G reported to be flying off the shelves even faster than the past Galaxy Z Fold2’s preorders of 80,000 units – 2 times of Galaxy S21 and 1.5 times of Galaxy Note20.
Adding on to the article, total pre-orders could potentially reach up to 600,000 units combined and if unlocked units are counted as well, the total pre-orders could hit 800,000 units!
