RESULTS OBTAINED AT JOINT RESEARCH HUB BETWEEN OGAWA & UNIVERSITI MALAYA SHOWED MASTER DRIVE AI 2.0 MASSAGE CHAIR SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVES BLOOD CIRCULATION AND SLEEP QUALITY

April 13, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

During this MCO  and CMCO, we had been staying at home and one of the things much needed for many families is a massage chair where you can relax all the way at home at anytime.

And as you know, massages for many years now have been one of the most sought-after tools to induce relaxation and release stress which were only made available in luxury spas and high-end health clubs, however global wellness innovator, OGAWA Malaysia announced its research findings effort done in collaboration with Universiti Malaya that efficient massages can also be found in the form of an advanced massage chair – by evaluating the efficiency of a massage chair therapy and to examine the potential improvement of blood circulation and sleep quality when a recent research study was conducted with OGAWA’s flagship product, OGAWA Master Drive AI 2.0.

Datuk Lim Mee Ling, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of OGAWA Malaysia shared that the cumulative effects of sleep loss and sleep disorders are causing increased risk of hypertension, diabetes, obesity, depression, heart attack and stroke. Additionally, according to the National Health and Morbidity Survey, the number of Malaysians with depression and anxiety disorder rose from 12% in 2011 to 29% in 2017.

OGAWA Malaysia and Universiti Malaya built on this research based on a study being done by a group of individuals when using OGAWA’s innovative flagship product, the OGAWA Master Drive AI 2.0. Providing the necessary hardware, ideas and technical support to ensure successful research, the study disclosed that 100% of the participants showed a significant improvement in blood circulation: 81.32% by using the OGAWA Master Drive AI 2.0 M6 Deep Tissue program and 43.48% through the Blood Circulation program, while 100% of the participants recorded an increase in sleep quality, and up to 88.73% progressed in sleep efficiency through the Sweet Dream program.

Prof. Dr. Saad Mekhilef, CEng (UK), SMIEEE(USA), FIET(UK), Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya expressed that the university was keen to be a part of the research to not only contribute their knowledge to this significant study that may be useful for future studies, but to aid in improving the overall wellness of the nation and potentially increase the life expectancies of Malaysians.

Built with up to 5,184 massage combinations to provide vast health solutions, the OGAWA Master Drive AI 2.0 features advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) including face recognition, Health Tracker and Scanner™, and AI-Powered Automated Analyst that uses algorithms to gather and manage data to customise your very own massage chair with a programmed list of recommended solutions that precisely targets your problem area.
