Get the tastiest Christmas food on the table without cooking!

December 14, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Christmas is usually one of the busiest times of year for G Hotel’s Taste Cafe when the culinary team pulls out all the stops to create extravagant seasonal menus for you to indulge in. As Christmas and New Year is around the corner, we will be celebrating this festive season differently this year, incorporating the new norm. A greater portion of families and friends will opt to stay-in and celebrate Christmas at home with food deliveries and takeaways while there are still a few who would like to dress up and dine-in to restaurants.

G Hotel’s Magical Christmas Takeaway has the fix to your roasted cravings like their famous Roasted Turkey with Stuffing which makes a perfect centrepiece for the dining table. The mouth-watering Roasted Turkey with vibrant Stuffing weighs 4.5kg and is sold at RM330nett. This glorious roast is accompanied with giblet sauce, cranberry sauce and various roasted vegetables – all in one price and is halal certified. Other perennial finger-licking roasts include their signature Roast Chicken, Leg of Lamb, Homemade Chicken Meatloaf and Roast Duck. Each roasted main is cooked to order and comes with a variety of sides like braised red cabbage, roasted pumpkin, roasted potatoes, mixed buttered vegetables and thyme sauce.

Nothing screams “come and join the party” quite like a platter overflowing with delicious food. With everything for meat and seafood lovers to vegetarian options, savoury to sweet platters, snacks platter, bucket of prawns, cured salmon platter, cheese platter and dessert platter will help you celebrate this festive season in style.

The top selling meat and snacks platters are loaded with dishes like tender beef brisket, juicy roast chicken, succulent lamb chops, chicken meatballs, salmon quiche and many more. This hearty platter makes for a fuss-free entertaining feast as it comes with sides and dressings that complement each item. Taste Café’s cheese platter has an impressive selection of Emmental, Feta, Cheddar, Brie, Danish Blue Cheese, Walnuts, Dried Apricots, Green and Red Grapes, Crackers, Grissini Baguette bread and Butter that is best enjoyed with wine.

G Hotel’s festive takeaways are made fresh to order and you have the option of choosing either takeaway or delivery. Not only that, G Hotel goes the extra mile to ensure your food arrives warm by properly packing your delicious meals in an insulated reusable bag that was made specifically for this. To ensure that the food comes in time for your party at home or at the office, it is best to order a couple of hours ahead or even a few days prior if it is for a large quantity.

With an adorable packaging that simulates a Christmas Tree, to creative flavours that brings you a ton of holiday cheer, G Hotel’s Festive Sweet Treats has everything you need for a holiday offering with perfectly spiced and soft Gingerbread and traditional Christmas cookies.

Other than the cookies, their best-sellers being Stollen – a flaky, moist, aromatic and divinely flavourful bread, Christmas Pudding – richly fruited pudding, Christmas Fruitcake – a dense cake with fruits and nuts in every bite, as well as Christmas Mince Pie – a buttery, crumbly pastry packed with zesty flavours is a must have every year.

Alternatively, if you are in the mood to dress up and enjoy a jolly celebration with your loved ones outside of home, then head over to Taste Café to enjoy their renowned Christmas and New Year Buffets at only RM108 for Buffet Lunch and RM168 for Buffet Dinner. You can dig in into a festive spread that will feature traditional Western Christmas classic as well as local favourites! There will be carving stations with Prime Ribs, Roasted Beef, Roasted Lamb Leg, Premium Seafood on Ice, and so much more for you to indulge in.

For those who would like a more private romantic affair, G Hotel has arranged a wine dinner for Christmas Eve at RM428nett per couple and New Year’s Eve at RM588nett per couple at G Hotel Kelawai’s panoramic rooftop bar, Gravity. Enjoy a professionally curated menu of exquisite food like Alaskan Scallops and Cod Fillet, Wagyu and Angus Beef, Lamb Loin and wine pairing featuring the best fine wines.

From an entire Christmas feast with a juicy roast turkey to a full gingerbread house, let these pros at Taste Cafe handle it. Visit https://gurney.ghotel.com.my/offers for more information.
