GAYANG SEAFOOD RESTAURANT, TUARAN, 2013

Gayang seafood Restaurant is one of the named famous seafood restaurant in Kota Kinabalu. The seafood restaurant had expended their restaurant compared the last visit we went. It was very packed when we got there at dinner time. Gayang seafood is very simple and there is no fancy on the restaurant itself. here you can have the showcase of all the live seafood and all seafood are charged by per gram or KG.

Steam Prawns is one of the highlight in the restaurant. The fresh large prawns are being steamed till reddish and it is being served with their homemade soy sauce as well as chilly paste. The prawns are simply sweet due to the freshness of the prawns itself.

Next we had the crabs. Being a fans of crabs, it would be confirmed for me to have more and more crabs. Kam Heung Crabs is simply good where the crab size is a large one with the spicy kam heung sauce. This is one of our favorite of the day with the freshness of the crabs there.

Price: RM 15.00/kg

Coming next is the oat prawns. The prawns for the dish is slightly smaller compared to the steam one. The taste is still good with the freshness of the prawns in it but I still prefer the steam prawns as I can taste the sweetness of the prawns itself compared to the oat prawns.

Price: RM 32.00/kg

Stir Fried Mussel is nothing much to shout about as it is simply normal. The mussels are quite fresh.
Taste : 3/5
Price: RM 15.00/kg

We ended with our second order of crabs which gives us a disappointment as the second batch of the crabs are not really fresh and the size is smaller. I could say it would be rather disappointed as the quality difers.
